Hi Leith,

Thanks for your excellent giveaway again :)

Some of your previous post have help me so much!!! a big THANKS again.

Anyway, i have a small question about Churn and burn in which i recently came interested with.

Is it still a good idea to do build a MNS with only 3 pages (i mean pages not posts in Wordpress) of About Us, Privacy policy and my static landing page?
Does it still rank well?

Moreover, my plan is to point 100% blackhat/SAPe to my landing page, how do you think about it?

*Note: i already read your [2/3] about churn and burn, just wonder if my idea still work.
Thanks in advance.
Peter

Yeah, I don't see why it won't work.

I still do something similar myself for extremely quick churn/burn sites and it works well. Adding a few more pages would increase the life span of the site though so if you do have time add in a couple more pages with some content.

A site with VERY thin content is going to be almost double as hard to rank compared to a site with decent articles / content so try adding more content if you can and I'm sure you will notice a difference in the time it takes to rank it for your keywords.

PM'ed you mate.

Excellent post, will continue to follow.

Here's a question that's different from the rest; how do you avoid burnout? I feel like I am constantly "on" from wake until sleep. Perhaps that's because I also own a offline business. What do you do to shut off, or do you?

Also, how much content do you put on your 2.0 sites? Will (manually) spun articles suffice?

Hey man,

Once again, very informative answer.

Lol, the funny moment that when i was about to order SEO Envy, it is now in maintainence.

Anyway, Thanks a ton!

My website is ranking #9 and #14 for some medium competitive keywords. I want to bring it to #1 for both keywords.
What do you suggest doing at this stage? What kind of links would be helpful to bring this to #1?
Till now I have focussed on social bookmarks, directories, blog comments and article directories. Web 2.0s did not help much when I tried them on complete different site.

Give me some idea to increase traffic & sale in clickbank?
From where should I get unique articles (500 or 300 words) at cheapest price?
Which is the best site to buy domain with hosting? (cheapest)

Hi Leith - great thread - thanks for putting the time and thought into this.

I'm about to start a very small network to feed into my site. I've bought about 5 domain names from GD Auctions. I intend to build these up into 'proper' sites - a bit of the reason for this is to experiment with, build up DA and see if I can monetise them.

When I've been buying these domains what I've noticed in my niche is that there are plenty of name type domains available cheaply (there are a lot of sole traders in my niche).

A typical domain may be FredBlogsNICHE.com or FBniche.com These domains are typically DA 20+, PA 30 (ish) and PR2-3.

Any thoughts of picking these up and adding 6 - 10 pieces of content then pointing them to my main site. If anyone came across the sites they'd simply look like hobbyist sites?

Cheers,

Phil

How to upload to youtube with consistency, without someone's service, and not get flagged(excluding the content of the video here)? At home. Proxies and stuff are problem I suspect. And I can't just use random proxy and upload at my home pc because of the difference of IP.

Big thanks

How do you manage and keep everything in your private blog network organized?

My staff/ partner manages that mainly so I can't really answer this question in as much detail.. but I do know for sure we do daily checks on everything to make sure it is up to standards. We also make sure the VA's we have are experienced and are technical enough to be managing our networks.

Very good question. I spend most of my time on the computer and its getting worryingly more serious nowadays. I do go out and stuff and that's vital but I'm now spending more time on my campaigns, clients etc.

I usually find it very hard to leave my work space until I know I've done everything on my to do list, and usually, my to do lists are extremely long. However, I just put a reminder on my to do lists to have a break. Most of the times, I listen to what I write and I go out for a drink, or a game of football, or even just to watch TV.

I have been going to the gym recently now for about 3 or 4 times a week and believe it or not, this actually does help to a certain extent. I feel more live and energetic these days and also get more work done than before. Maybe try it out. Or you could just buy a mat, a few tools and weights and you're good to do it from home - working out does give you that extra adrenaline and it helps me be more productive and enjoy my social time too.

Also, how much content do you put on your 2.0 sites? Will (manually) spun articles suffice?

If its pointing to an important site of mine, I do not take any risks so I use unique content.

If its just a churn and burn site then go ahead and add in some powerful blog network links. Give it that final push. It's good that you're building a solid variety of links (bookmarks, etc etc) but now it's time you give it that final push into the top page (hopefully). I don't want to mention any services or anything but take a look in the BST section, read the reviews and you'll find something for sure!

If its a major important site and you want to play it safe, then just build more links and slowly increase your link building speed / velocity. Build in some more high PR links and try to get some from different sources. Add in different links if you can, and throw up some content on your site. Keep playing around and you'll get that final push for sure if you try!

As for cheapest price, check out the BHW marketplace - there are some pretty cheap article writers which I know of. I currently use Hostgator and whilst there has been 1 small downtime in the past, their support and their service simply rocks for me. Never had any big issues and I hope Il never get any.

For domain names, I tend to go to Namecheap as they usually always have some sort of discount or coupon going on and their customer support and service is often top notch, and the best in the industry in my opinion.

I don't think HMA VPN would work well with Scrapebox but I may be wrong..

Sure thing.. but again, make sure they are someway related to your main site. Don't buy gaming sites for a health site of yours for example.

But yes, if they are related, pick them up, fix their on page SEO, and start adding GOOD quality content - not spun crap. Good, lengthy (750 or so word) articles and use images, etc and keep adding the content. You want these sites to look like real sites and not just used as a tier 2 for SEO.

So yep, go for it! If they already have some decent PA/DA, then that's a good start. You can always increase the PA/DA for these with more quality SEO and the juice from these sites will also flow onto your main site which you'll be linking to. So yeah, go for it and let me know how it goes!

I'm currently a student but I plan to go full time IM next year, around March.

If you're working 9-5, then that is definitely going to be complicated. If I was in your shoes, working 9 till 5 and had a few clients to speak to, Il tell them that I can't do those times. Unfortunately, there is nothing else you can do. Right now, I go college and my timetable is pretty flexible hence why I have spare time but if you're working from 9 till 5 with no decent breaks then it's obviously going to be hard.

How about the weekends? It's not convenient for everyone but that sounds like something I'd probably look into too.

Don't you get any time during lunch? Maybe that could be a possible option? Are you allowed to use programs like Skype during work or is more strict?

Thanks for the detailed response! Yes I have taken a call at lunch before, not great because I had to leave my computer so the only information I could give the client was off the top of my head, which isn't ideal when they are firing questions lol.

That was just a job over the summer that has now fortunately ended which is handy as I have a client meeting mid-afternoon on Monday that I wouldn't have been able to do before. I am a student as well with 1 year left so I am in the same boat as you, trying to be self-employed next year lol. Going to start fully in early July, so good luck from March onwards!

I have a few plans that I am going to be implementing over this year now I have a bit more time, so might hit you up to discuss a few ideas etc as you are also in the UK.

Hello Leith. Do you think that tiered link building will still work in the near future?

Thank you leith for taking your time and answering in such a detailed fashion. I would take this opportunity to ask a few more if that's not a problem ;)
Any opinion on how to build a private blog network for beginners with low budgets? So that these networks prove to be useful in future when I enter big markets. I have heard these networks are expensive to buy but if you build them over time, it will be cheap as well as you will have control over what links you are making for those networks.

Hi Leith, I'd like to ask you a few questions.
I have been in IM for 8 months, I started with YouTube + PPD. Now I'm slowly moving into SEO+PPD, and I'm focusing on ranking a multi-niche site. My plan is to build web 2.0 buffer sites as tier 1, with lots of 300 words filler articles and then twelve 500 words articles pointing to my money-site. Is it good to use the same buffer site to link to more pages of the same money site?
E.g.: a web 2.0 blog has an article pointing to moneysite.com/niche1, and then another article pointing to moneysite.com/niche2; will I get my money site penalized doing this way?

Then, I think I'll buy GSA Ser to build tier 2 and 3. Is it a good strategy?

Sorry for the noobish questions.
