[UPDATED METHOD] [EASY] My Autoblog - Social Media - Passive Income - System

Hi, I've followed the guide and setup a cron job in cpanel, copied the url from the syndication, and set the syndication to cron or manual only.
This is what shows under current cron jobs in cpanel:

0,30
*
*
*
*
usr/bin/curl --silent http://domainhere?update_feedwordpress=1

So I don't understand why it isn't auto-updating. Because I think I've already setup the cron job. Thanks for any help. greatly appreciated.

obviously you haven't set up a cron job, or you made a mistake there. please provide more detail what exactly you have set up and there's a chance someone can help you.

Excellent stuff! You should not apologize for posting ref links. All over the world it is customary for friends to buy you a drink (coffee, tea, whisky, beer etc) when you do them a favour. You are a mate and you have done us a favour by spending so much time to share your secretes and help us make money. So, anyone that complains about your ref link is nothing but a Donkey.

Im having some trouble with submitting my sitemap on google webmaster tool, I have tried almost everything and the same error keeps popping up saying I'm missing XML tag. Is it very important to submit a sitemap, or will I still be okay if I skipped this step?

reinstecker,

you said that you create tumblr and twitter accounts with different IPs (this is what I did), but when you are reblogging and retweeting your own accounts you always use the same home IP?

I have one tumblr account that I use from my home computer and my mobile phone to reblog stuff from my other tumblr accounts I have created elsewhere. Twitter doesn't seem to care for multi IP use, I have added 12 accounts to the twitter app on my phone, all created from my home IP (static) within 2 days.

Make sure that you use yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml as the sitemaps adress. There are tons of plugins to create sitemaps, maybe you should try a different one. And don't get a heart attack if you can't submit a sitemap for any reason! ;) This method will still work just fine, because social traffic doesn't care for a sitemap. It is better when you submit one, but it is not a must.

The cron command has to begin with a starting "/", so the correct command would be: /usr/bin/curl --silent http://domainhere?update_feedwordpress=1

Ok.
Thanks for the quick "support"!
I will try not to put several tumblr on same account and IP in order not to loose them all if a ban occurs.

Also, I'm testing the RSS feed. I added 4 sources, and when I run the update, it's just load and load like nothing happen.
So I just get something like :
"Check currently scheduled feeds for new and updated posts.
Updating XXXfeedexample from <http://XXXfeedexample.tumblr.com/rss/"

and it won't move until I refresh the page. When I check post, 1 post is added. But looks like it can go to the second feed by itself.
Any idea there ? Maybe something you already saw.

That happens to me sometimes, too. I guess this is because of a script timeout. But as long as the blog is updated a few times a day I simply don't care. Especially when you build a lot of blogs on one account it is better to lower the amount of pictures posted per day after some time.

When a blog is new I update them with at least 20 pictures a day to gain followers on twitter and tumblr faster, but after some time i lower that to maybe 5-10 pictures a day.

Actually I just switch from my test hosting to Arvix and it's working fine. Thanks again.

Edit : Also, while I'm here :
On some feeds, I'm getting results like this :
fee.png

As you can see, it's posting URL on title and description. Is there anyway to prevent from that ? Or to automatically rename the titles at least ? (I know this can be done with manual upload, but I'm more looking for an auto-pilot way of upload).
I'm still testing to get one blog fine before duplicate to many more.

Edit2 : Also, I limited to 1 post per feed. It's working fine, only 1 post per feed is created, but many more pictures are uploaded to my media wordpress folder. Where they seems to be attached to blank posts that don't even exist.

I have this problem too, hundreds of pics are automatically stored in media library but only 50-60 are actually really posted.

is feedwordpress only scrape and post a Picture or title and text

blogsence + regex = automatically rename the titles and remove links

I had the same problem this is how i fixed it
Go to the sitemap plug in and make sure it's set to "on the root folder"
Then wait until you have data on your blog and then submit the sitemap

It's just how my post looks like with the WP theme I use.
Anyway I think I will go with the "manual" upload. Just have to upload 1200 pics/blogs to get 40pics/day posted per month. Should not take that much time once I have all my folders ready with thousands of ripped pictures in each niche.
Also give me more control about what I post.

Yes manual give more control

40pics/day ist the max

I second that... I started with RSS feed but decided to use my own downloaded pictures and set it on monthly auto pilot.
