I'll tell you exactly how I found prospects. I use Localizer Leads Tool (not affiliated) to scrape businesses via Google Places in a specific category (ex: Dentists). I scraped for the nearest 50 businesses, then I exported those who did not have a website. Next, I manually checked to see if they had a website since many don't update their Google Places page. That is how I found 100 local prospects who did not have a website.

So dentists returned 50 businesses, then you repeated with another business type to get to 100?

I like the tool you recommended, good call. I just sent the calling details to some college girls on my floor, they'll start calling this week. If this goes anywhere, I might make my own thread. I don't have easy access to a good postal service or office, so I'm going to try some pay per sale cold calling first.

This is not my final update as I still need to call everyone who was mailed to. However, I feel that it has been pretty much wrapped up.
Total calls: 3
I emailed samples to those three and spoke with them. One said he was looking to have his website re-created in the near future and will be in contact.
I sold two websites @ $500 (they bought domain, hosting on my shared account).
Total Revenue: $1,000
Costs:
100 Stamps = $67.00
100 Envelopes = $9.00
Ink: 25% * $50 = $12.50 (I used about 25% of a cartridge).
Total: $88.50
Net Profit: $911.5
Thanks to everyone for their kind words. I am still open to asking questions. I am working on a new mailer for SEO clients. Should be posted within a week or so, I am putting a lot of work into each client.

Don't you want to charge recurring fee for website hosting + update?
You can use ManageWP and sell $25 to $100 a month a backup, plugin update and one "premium plugin".

You're right. I did already have both of them (I've purchased roughly 20 themes) but I'll still factor it in. 2 themes x $40 = $80
So net profit, $911.50 - $80 ...
Hey, I suggest hiring a copy writer / designer for the mailer. I feel my mailer could have been improved and will put money into it next time.

I use premium themes from themeforest.net.
I am going to start charging for hosting in the future.

TIP: Pet stores are the best clients, they usually need logos, sites, etc. They are also interested in "maintaining" the site, like adding pictures of new pets and so on. Charge 100$ for a month (more or less, depending on the size of the shop) and you got some nice $ for adding an article or a few pictures.
