Hey BHW!
For a while now, I have been wanting to send out physical letters like many of you have been doing. A few months back, I went out and purchased everything and etc. However, I was quite busy with work so did not finish the job. I now have more time. So, here is what I have done so far:
- Registered a business
- Bought domain and built website
- Found 100 local prospects who DO NOT have a website. Created a two page letter. The first page was a simple sales letter explaining what they are missing out on. The second page included a list of keywords related to their business and how many monthly searches they were receiving. I find that if the prospect sees with his or her eyes the amount of people searching online, they will be more likely to buy.
I am selling Wordpress websites for $499. Takes no more than 3-4 hours to create it since I am just buying a theme from themeforest and customizing it.
Here are the letters, already sent out yesterday! Hoping to get a few calls this week.

Game Plan:
Next monday I will be calling these businesses and confirming they received the letter. I will talk up the website and try to get them more interested. I am in the process of building mockup websites for the niches I targeted. Which by the way were the following:
Electricians
Plumbers
Millwork
Dentists (One of the 5 dentists in my area without a website turned out to be my dentists so we'll see how that goes!)
Chiropractors
So I will build 5 mockup websites, should take a day or so.
Questions and comments are welcomed! Wish me luck
.
Tristan.
