We use BHW to find methods that work for us to succeed and exceed our competition - and NOT to drown them with spam.

I'm earning, but the difference in earnings from being ranked 3-5 and being ranked 1 are pretty significant. I'm here for the same reasons you are (presumably) - to make money. At the end of the day, everyone here is cheating the system in one way or another, not sure why it's such a big deal.

But yeah, I was curious if this was a possibility. This is business, and as far as I'm aware, it may be unethical, but I don't believe it's illegal. So yeah, if it came down to it, I'd consider trying to knock my competition down the rankings.

You should be asking intelligent questions if you're actually going to be blatant and bring the subject up. ie. "Will my site replace the previous site's ranking if I performed negative SEO", "how diverse of a link profile\authoritative would it need to be to not be impacted".

You just come off as being ignorant, and you ignored the previous reply about your competition likely blasting your ass back in retaliation for your not significant enough ranking that you couldn't surpass, and it would be all for not in the end.
 
Why dont you just give us your domain, and we will do a special test case to see if your theory works *sarcastic*.
You will learn real fast if it works lol

Seriously...analyse the competition properly, see what they are and are not doing and think how to outrank them, but dont be a baby, whine and resort to Digital Point tactics.

So don't waste your $$$ in doing negative seo instead of that you can invest that $$ in doing positive SEO.

I was just asking a simple hypothetical question, and was hoping for a simple yes/no styled response. I didn't ignore that post, I just didn't respond to it because it answered my question fully and didn't warrant a response. I was just curious if this was possible, and apparently it is, which is interesting. By the way, how significant is site uptime/downtime in regards to ranking position?
 
OP you remind me of the guy that wanted to pay people to buy his competitors Fiverr gigs and give negative feedback.

This forum has so many legitimate ways posted to make money online (some of them with step by step instructions a 5 year old could follow) and you want do this to someone?

I say go for it, because it is people like you that will go nowhere and be 70 years old and still on the BHW forum trying to find ways to screw other people over to make a dollar.
Meanwhile, everyone else with morals and a brain will be here sharing their knowledge that actually helps people and laughing at people like you.
