Digg now have "nofollow" on their comment. I don't this method this work anymore....

Wtf I tryed all the SEO tools, and they all say when I go to google.com or any other site:
n/a or error. Both in FF and IE, wtf is wrong.

Not sure if this makes the process easier/quicker but if you go to g00gle and type in:

"in site:digg.com [keyword] [number less than 50] comments "

It will bring back digg pages that have <50 comments (you have to enter a small number because it probably changed since getting indexed) and then just check the PR on each one. Only problem is new articles show up and they're not filtered by number of diggs. Still refining this method.

Works great until Digg figures out you are spamming them and deletes your account and all the posts. Tried this a while ago and it worked for a few months on some accounts to a few days on others. Eventually they figured out it was spam, I suspect because of all the posts to old threads. Seems a better idea is to post to newer threads that are rising, get near the top of the page and just let the page rank build over time. Assuming you're not posting total spam links you will seem to be a good user making a lot of comments. Don't put links in every post and enjoy the long term benefit.

Hi thanks for the tip, but I don't really think that it's going to help your sites that much because all Digg links are "no follow". Correct me if I'm wrong?:rolleyes:

why are all the newbies saying its "no-follow" then everyone else is say its "do-follow"...I'm confused...

How long until these links kick in. Did some a while back and do not see them in backlinkwatch?

Newbie or not, this page leads to a PR7 site....
According to SEOquake anyway..

hxxp://digg.com/tech_news/Scientists_deploy_first_Web_based_secure_voting_system

Looking at the html links in the comments (less than 47 at this time)... The links show up as no follow to me..

I'm not trying to stir up anything, I'm just trying to make sure I'm correct in my observation since no one really stated an issue until I did. Can some seasoned veteran step in and put an end to the confusion here?

Please =)

This shows up as PR0 to me??!! Also how can you drop a url in here when you comment. People will just vote your comment down and it will become Nofollow??

Sorry, about the link, not sure how the space got in the end, it should be: "system" at the end.
The url was fine before I posted!

Which points to a PR7 site by the name of Physorg.com
