Hi guys,

My tier 1 consists of 10 different web 2.0 platforms. Rather than just creating a 2nd set of these 10 platforms, im wondering what else should my tier 1 link profile consist of?

Thanks

Hand built links, guest posts on quality websites, personally negotiated links such as with some friend or business partner and so on.

It depends on you niche, but you may put together an ebook from the content of your site and list it on download sites (ie free-ebooks . net). You can get some high PR backlinks in return. You will need a nice cover though, but that you can outsource to somebody on fiverr. You can just take a few of your posts and put into a pdf, put your link into the footer and add a cover.

You can have all possible niche relevant backlinks in Tire 1. Diversification and niche relevant links maters here.

Doc sites

Quality comments on relevant sites
Forum posts
yahoo answers or any other answer site
google sites ( most people forget this one)

guest posts
ehow
youtube etc
article sites( just the top ones)
PR sites
business directories

Thanks, plenty to work with here.

Sape links :D:D
Articles
Youtube, or any other kind of video sites :D:D

There are so many dude, I would be here all day writing about them :D:D

I think that old web 2.0 are by far the best for Tier 1, if we speak about links you can build without a need to contact anyone. Ezinearticles and few other reputable directories that accept only unique content are also good. Than Make a video on YT with your link, typically helps.

If you have some time/money, try to get some guest posts on relevant blogs.

If your side is EMD, it should be enough to rank top 3 spot. Good luck!

Remember diversity bro?

Only web2.0 sites won't do the cut, you will need much more platforms :D

If you haven't already, link a Google+ account to the site, along with any other social networks.

Then set-up authorship on your site.

Because most people here write about diversity (and sell a service for $$$ that builds links on 100s of shitty platforms...) does not mean it is really the way to go.

I rank very well all my EMDs with only web 2.0 and handful of guest posts.

link diversity is very important

heres just a couple of link types for my very small 2cents

web directories (put them all on tier 1)
high pr article sites
high pr wikis
multi user blog platforms
press release

there are many many more, but i thought id let someone else have their 2cents,

but get a spreadsheet, and put the levels/tiers you want/need - fill it out with each domain/site you want to do
you can get free spreadshhet software at openoffice.org if you dont have excell - its just as good and free.

do a spreadsheet for each domain, as each one will have diiferent types of links, you can add to/adjust the tier as you go on. etc

if you are targeting yahoo/bingywingy only then you can rely on much lower quality links.

also much more competitive terms will need bigger/more complex linking structures.

What are some of the "best" article share sites, i know of ezine, what else is there?

Thanks for thsi post. Ill look into the article stires, wikis and press releases. I record everything in excel for my tiered link building, so i can just add these links to those existing sheets.

Could you point me in the right direction to find a list of high pr article directories, and wikis?

In regards to "multi user blog platforms" what are these exactly?

If I was you I would focus now on bookmarks, Google+ and make a quick eBook and get it on download sites.

Document sharing sites (PDF/PPT) are good for tier 1 as well

Social bookmarking is a confusing area for me. I know im probably being really dumb but is it as simple as posting my link on twitter, reddit, digg, stumbleupon or something else?

Should i be doing this manually or automated? Or should i just buy social book marks?
