Best Free Tool For Competitor Evaluation

Hi Guys,

I have completed doing OnPage Seo for one of our company website related to health and wellness ..

Now need to start with OFF page Seo . My first concern is i need to start with competitor evaluation . Including their page rank , keywords and backlinks , i have worked with keyword spy free trial .But at this point dont wanna pay for full access.

Please suggest me best free service which will help me to do competitor evaluation as well as to get new links ..

I second what Duffers5000 said and would like to add linkquidator.c0m where you may be able to spot which kinds of links your competitor tries to rank with.
Also woorank.c0m can be quite a good source of information.

Try SEO SpyGlass , It's an extremely useful tool with a free and a payed version.

You can also try a search string like "domain.com" -site:domain.com or in yahoo link:domain.com -site:domain.com. This combined with tools like ahref, majestic, dont forget open site explorer (true they are paid, but each will give some backlinks) will give you a better picture of what you competition links look like.

Yep, as BigKapp said, SEO Spyglass seems like what you are after.

If you search for SEO Powersuite you will find it. There is a free version which is limited (I think it prevents you from saving a project, not sure if it limits the number of backlinks and details it shows). Either way, this is the tool you want to be using - simply add the URL, run the report and then run for advanced factors (PR, page titles, meta desc etc etc)

You can only get 1000 links to check and cannot save you results. Those are the free version limitations.

Ahrefs and Open Site Explorer. This is best to find competitors backlinks. But limited backlinks only you can see. So, better to download SEO Power Suite software. It's best to see and free version also. Try it and you fell to find your competitors backlinks.

I did play with Ubersuggest, also your competition may not have everything, so after you have compiled all their data your could use all the tools to complete this.
