May be.. I don't know. I don't live there.

But OP is looking for some place where the problem he wrote about are less or not exists. And I think those problems are more in Asian and Arabian countries than in US and Europe.

But I may be wrong as I don't have any first hand experience.

No brainer Macau every time...

The Triads chop guys like you up for fun...

If you're picking up fights with ever other person, then don't come to my land. Here, we people adjust to life's miseries everyday and coexist... somehow.

But if you pick a fight with someone in a local train, they would not bother to send you to any jail... most probably they will throw you out on a railway station or in between stations and they will not stop to let the train stop either... it depends on how loud, brutal, and how hateful you're towards co-passengers.

In that train, the law belongs to the mob... true. They are already fed up with the negativity and injustice they suffer everyday outside that train compartment. BTW, it really helps clean up society in my land in a way. It doesn't happen everyday, but when it goes beyond the limits of tolerance, then the mob will not wait for law to intervene. The mob-law is quick and brutal, thankfully.

Better stay in your own country and help some people change the atmosphere for the better. The rudeness of your countrymen can be changed -- to make you feel better, but imho, you must help your own self first (positively).

So, Be more tolerant, and feel lucky... lucky because you're not involved in the task of really recreating your nation. Ask those involved how hard it is, but inspite of all negativity and no-success in sight atm, they must be still trying to bring peace and make love flow more freely.... Go help them... please! Give tat task to your aggressiveness, may be you're born to recreate your surrounding positively, and not just retch at all the negativity all around you... sometimes, your nature, if reined properly, will help the bigger nature to become very happy because of a well-channeled positive aggressiveness!

Hating your country isn't THE solution if you think deeply enough.

HTH, dude! :)

Bangalore. Awesome weather, friendly people, cool places to hang out, amazing chicks. The IT hub of Asia.

i was there a view times .. and for india not bad. but when you can choose worldwide sorry ....
too noisy - to crowded - no beach - no nice center - no good nightlife.......
I really guess you have not seen much of the world that you recommend Bangalore.

I think Asia is a great place to setup shop, but the problems you describe in Latin America exist here as well. In fact, it is probably worse here than in Latin America where social norms are based on Western norms.

I have lived in Asia for four years and you will find rude insensitive people here as well and even more so, because what they consider an acceptable social norm, we Westerners might take offense to.

If you pull crap like what you described in the OP in Thailand or Cambodia (where I live now), you would be set upon by a gang of locals and they would beat the crap out of you; whether you were right or wrong. Here, if the locals see a foreigner in a fight with a local, they beat the crap out of your first and ask questions later. In Latin America, you get the benefit of the doubt.

The safest place with generally the most friendly people I have lived in Asia would definitely be Singapore. Singaporeans are very non-confrontational and manage to get along with each other despite the large number of people living on the island.

IMO, the people who generally fall out of line with Singaporean social etiquette, which is for the most part based on English social norms, are new comers from the PRC (Singaporeans despite being predominantly of Chinese decent complain quite a bit about the PRCs).

Of course, living in Singapore is damn expensive. But, if you can afford 4-5K a month rent for a small, but nice apartment, come on out.

That being said, you need to chill the f*ck out, because you are going to get yourself badly hurt or even killed. Never forget you are a guest in Latin America and you should act as such.

Here is BIG clue for you: do you see the locals getting into fights for what might be trivial crap at the end of the day? I think not. Get your act together before it is too late.

FYI, I am originally from the US and lived in Latin America for eight years.

Yes, too crowded. But the expenses of living here is VERY MUCH less than other places,so even if you make a few bucks online, you can indulge here with that money. Plus you get modern techy stuff/gadgets not found much else in rest of India. And the food is just amazing - Masala Dosas, Idly vadas, biriyanis and a whole lotta stuff. I love it here :)

So you love it because of food and because its cheap. Ok that is for example both not so importand for me. I find good food everywhere. sometimes i have to search harder or explain how i like to have it done but when you stay somewhere longer you find your places which you like.
And your second point .... because its cheap ... i guess there are many other places cheaper if you go for that.
But its great that you love the place where you are.

thats anyway the main question. what you want and what is important for you. then you can think of where going. since the tread opener seems to have anger problems he would get crazy in india in no time.

OP, you need to run away from your anger lot more than from your country and the countrymen. ;)

Hi
I am now on my 4th country. There are lots of great countries to live in, some are mentioned here like Canada or Switzerland or Singapore. However, here are a few things for you to consider
1. VISA, VISA, VISA AND VISA - SO IMPORTANT!
2. OPENING UP BANK ACCOUNTS
3. GETTING PHONE CONTRACTS

4. RENTING PROPERTIES

VISA

IT CAN BE DIFFICULT GETTING RESIDENTIAL VISAS. Countries like Singapore - which is a nice place to live will often only give you a visit visa which means that you have to leave the country every 30 days (depending on your country of origin they will give up to 3 months) The good thing about Singapore is you can do a bus run across the border to Malaysia or a ferry to Indonesia so it's not so expensive to renew your tourist visa.

Bank Accounts ; If your on a tourist visa this generally means that banks will not open an account for you- unless of course you have plenty of money in which case they will make an exception.

if your on a visit visa this means you are on a pay as you go phone contract this can be very expensive. It also means that you wont be able to rent out a house/apartment. You are therefore reliant on living in serviced apartments/holiday lets which can be damn expensive.

Just for the record
Singapore is an OK place to live - you will still find them rude as it tends to be everyman for himself, it's a small place with a lot of people and you fight for your seat on the bus or the mrt. Thats how it is, step up or be stepped over. It is also Damn expensive and visas are hard to come by.
As you are quick to fight stay away from Dubai - you need to know there is a pecking order and Arabs are first whatever the situation, no point in going to jail.

Suggest you first investigate what countries will give you a visa without too many problems then go and investigate. If you can stay for 6months do so. If you still like it after 6 months then look at moving there permanently otherwise say goodbye and move on.

If you need more help pm me.

Come to Slovenia. Nice peopel friendly , very good climate small country.

Yeah, and awesome "cheap" highways that cut off right before the borders...

Anyways, OP you could try countries like Canada or Australia, they are very nice to foreigners/expats, but the cost of living will be probably higher than in your current country.
