Promoting facebook page - questions

I'm interested in people seeing my fanpage i made and i was wondering if this would be a good way to drive traffic to my site? would spending 5$ a day drive traffic and sales if i share my link on my page?

well what if i did 20$? do you think that the people who like my page, will click the links i post to my fanpage? And if they did do you think this would convert to sales possibly?
