Hi, I will post response for both of you. I always use 1,500 posts (5 packages B) on my money site and then target 20-100 keywords. I always get the boost for all keywords (obviously, it depends on competition as well) and I slowly see the rankings dropping down sometimes so I just reblast them and I have them up again. For low-mid competition keywords you may not see the drop at all. There is a site that still ranks for 100+ keywords on page 1 (think of seo + location but my area is not hard or that competitive like seo london, etc ...).

I have not seen penalties on my own sites.

These are spun blog posts. Some IPs might overlap but there are 1400 blogs across 400 IPs.
