My site is based in the US, and I have Google covered with SEO pretty well. Now my business does well with international customers, but I've looked on international search engines, and it either doesn't come up, or only home page will return results.

For an example, I checked with Naver (korean SE) and my site didn't even come up. Then I checked with Daum (another korean SE) and only my main pages showed up, but not the catalog that I want to show up.

So my question is, do international search engines work the same as Google does will crawling your site and indexing all the pages?
Do these other major search engines have WMT like Google does?

Seems like Yandex has some of my pages indexed. But how do I get more of them crawled and indexed?

such local search engines can sometimes have tools for manually submitting pages to them - try to search a bit. Also much more primitive SEO methods tend to work on such local search engines (like methods that worked in google 5-7 years ago) like keyword stuffing, multiple backlinks from one domain etc. You just have to search and try to find out what works where.

Well seems most folks have enough trouble here figuring out the basics for ranking with G let alone some obscure Korean search engine. I imagine ranking algos for those SEs are going to be vastly different and there might even be a place to submit your site considering the vast hardware expense it takes to have a web crawler worth its salt.

Find Korean ping site lists, that's what I would assume the SE there is using to find links - ping your backlinks iwth them too and you will show up in their SE. It should be a lot easier getting some ranks there.

Does anyone know of Yandex or Baidu ping sites?

Well yeah I've done that. But that doesn't do much to get them to index pages on the site.

Is there anyone on here that does country specific SEO?

There will be but I doubt one person can do this as languages are the issue like very complex ones like Thai - Arabic - Japanese - Mandarin and more to name just a few...

To do country specific SEO a team of linguists will be needed...

I was thinking people in those countries would be able to offer SEO service.

Like you can't have someone in the Middle East write unique English content. It just doesn't flow right for English speaking people.

SEO is not a little field and depends area wise because the fields which are working here different from there.

Exactly and that's my point.

Or an international article supplier + you always have the ability to order articles from international content writers from fiverr etcc. If someone is up for it is very doable.

Ah. Right. Seems very doable to tap into these international search engines then.
