Tweet Demon Suspensions

Looks like Tweet Demon is leaving some serious footprints behind? Can't get banned for simply following people, I've followed hundreds by day no problems.

I follow about 150 per day on 113 aged accounts with Tweet Demon, only have had 2 suspended in 4 days.

Timing is everything.

There is a thread on BHW about using TweetAdder 4. Strange, but they are able to follow 1000+ a day...The main guess - as soon as you are using new API it imitates human behavior better then bypassing API like in TD and Twitter allows that. No suspensions.

But I don't like to pay monthly fees to TweetAdder for following/unfollowing manually. There are other programs based on new API, like TweetTwain - $47 one time. May be to do follow there?.. Still did not have time to check them properly. Any opinions?

No flies on you! ;)

What delay are you setting? And 2 suspensions out of how many accounts in total?

many people are complaining about it regularly

I had 1000 accounts and was building them slowly. About 40 follows per day with TD. After the API change, all but 4 of them got suspended permanently. I can vouch that it has to do with the way that TD is following users (especially with the search function). Once it get's stuck, it just follows the same user over and over again. I believe that is why Twitter suspends the accounts.

It is a glitch in the software. Until TD supplies a verified fix, I'm staying away.

What are your alternative methods? Cna you share? I'd PM you but I don't have enough posts.

I have had real problems with Tweet Demon suspending accounts so fast and have followed all of the recommendations. Software does not work for me and I have requested a refund however do not expect a reply...they say to contact via skype but they completely ignore you. I was fobbed off to the support guy hung - who was helpful and then completely ignored my requests. Now to PayPal as a last resort

I was following from text file about 30 ppl - no problems. But still don't want to risk 130k followers. So far found the way to get targeted followers from retweets and just follow them back. All this situation with TD is very frustrating :(

Definitely not using TD on any accounts with a reasonable amount of followers. Even 15-20 a day gets around 1 account in 30 banned.

Definite footprint, as it's not a proxy issue.

I've been having MAJOR issues with TD as well. As an experiement I completely stopped following and just ran the tweet poster. No other modules have been running. After 2 days, about 50% of my accounts have been suspended. Using private proxies, only 1-2 accounts per proxy.

So it has to be some kind of footprint? There's no other explanation I can think of...

I'm not sure about TD leaving a footprint but it's definitely possible, also tech support is unable to fix some annoying bugs (users complain about forced updates for months and nothing changed). Compared to Tweet attacks it consumes much more resources and it crashes more often for no apparent reason.

Conclusion - it's too expensive, yes it can be worth the money but only if you have previous experience with twitter marketing so you can overcome TD idiosyncrasies and focus on the job. A beginner will probably be discouraged and drop everything after a few days of loosing accounts.

whoa totally not cool. I've been using tweet demon for only posting too and now that you say this.. accounts are getting suspending. not at a 50% rate.. more at a 10% rate but still i need to see is simply TD the cause for this. I have a simple tweet poster but the reason I love TD is because it can schedule posts.

This is strange... We are using TD poster since the death of TweetAdder3, 32 accounts, private proxies, 3-6 min posts interval. None of the accounts got suspended. Besides I think Twitter doesn't have any rules against of auto posting and auto follow back. So what could be wrong with TD posting?

TD has the worst customers support EVER!!!! Try reporting a bug and see if anyone gives a damn to reply. Its a freaking joke.

I have both TD and FBdemon and I've been experiencing problems with FBDemon for months. I reported it numerous times and no one even bothered to reply. Only when I got really pissed and started a fuss did one of the coders contact me through skype. Before that they all ignored all of my messages on both of the forums and on skype. So...coder connected to my computer through TV to see what was wrong and to see if he can fix it. After an hour of failed attempts (even my little niece could have done a better job cause all he did was try to change the passwords and proxies on my FB accounts thinking that would solve the problem (??)), he gave up saying, and I quote: "I don't know what the problem is. It's working fine on my computer" and he vanished! its been days since then and I've left him countless messages asking if he fixed it. needless to say he ignored every single one of them, my posts on the forum are also being ignored. I'm freaking tired of their crappy service and constant ignoring. What kind of a so called coder gives an answer like that??

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

I think that your problem is that you were following very fast while your accounts are not aged accounts. I'm using 3 month aged accounts then set TD follow automatically thrice a day. Limit from 80 to 100 following each time. I have been on this for a month and everything has been alright so far.

P/S : I think that there is no generally agreed definition of footprint here. It all depends on the way you do at TD. Combine all TD modules they would do the job better.
