Weird traffic source from Google Analytics

Hi, everyone
Im using GA for my site and i check my traffic daily. Regular, my site has around 50 traffic source (referal from another urls). But today, when i check the report, i have seen more weird traffic source. Have 400 referral links and them stay on webpage 0:00:00 with bource rate 100% and page view 1, i never seen this before. Looking as a bot with random referral from these links? Any idea for my case?



I have tried search on google like this: [referral link] + [mysite] (Ex: exampleurl + mysite) but do not have any my website link place on these referral links, so how can it come from these links.

well, it seems like someone is using his fake traffic bot / script to send them to your website. Either cause he wants to mess with your stats (you have enemies?), or he randomly picked up your website to run some tests of his software / script

do you have adsense on your website ? if yes some people are testing their traffic bot on your website be safe

OP, check this, set up logs, take his or their IP's and / or hosts and block them.

Hi, thank for your reply, i dont use adsense on my site, also my site wrote on ASP.NET, so the php script is not work for me.

Messing with your bounce rate could come off as bad user experience and push you lower in the SERPs. Can you somehow see if the traffic is coming from the same IP address or if the IP addresses are the same as where each website is hosted?

One of the sites on that list is mywebsearch, a site known for distributing malware. Looks like you have an enemy.

Well, my site is new and it growly fast, it has so many advantages compare with similar sites. Do you have any sugestion to solve this problem. If this is take low SERPs, its really bad.

A client bought a domain which had a previous life and I get tons of this sort of thing while analyzing his stats, looks like the previous owner in my case either had enemies or ran some dumb campaigns himself.

No my domain is new and fresh. Well, maybe i have enemies that i dont know
