I have seen a lot of people looking into TweetDemon, being its the only bot currently working(to my knowledge) as the reason for the suspensions.
I do not own TweetDemon and just received a suspension for adding about 50 people within 5m.
The users were added from a niche. All users added had either Re-tweeted or Favorited a certain User which my blog had just did a review on. We posted links to the blog on Twitter.
Being that I never had TA3 and have not tried out TD, this is the method I used to add users. I did not add them as fast in the past.
My account is about 6mo old with 2500 followers / 750 Following. Was this just me being lackadaisical with the add speed or has Twitter REALLY beefed up spam prevention? Probably a mixture of both, but it is still annoying that the users added were all active users, within my exact target of my niche, and all active within the last 5m(re-tweet/fav on 5m old tweet).
Twitter says this about following:
Every Twitter account is technically unable to follow more than 1,000 users per day, in addition to the account-based limits above. Please note that this is just a technical limit to prevent egregious abuse from spam accounts.
What is aggressive following?
Aggressive following is defined as indiscriminately following hundreds of accounts just to garner attention. However, following a few users if their accounts seem interesting is normal and is not considered aggressive.
Followed 1/20th and couldn't have been more dead on with my target.
