Hi,

My name is John and I'm 15.My problem is that my father and I argue a lot about my school marks which are really bad (A).He knows I make a serious income from IM but he is angry at me all the time because of the bad marks I get. What do you guys recomeend?

Cheers!

Coolkid, if you're making a serious income from IM, why don't you just outsource? Focus on your grades while someone else does the work for you.

Go to school. Without knowledge and education you can't go far in life (self taught included).

End of story.

Organize your time better because school is very important.
If you can't do it now, what will you do when you get married and have kids? :)

go to school dude as a backup plan. there is more to school than just grades.i am sure u will learn that as you get older. cheers :)

Im kinda in the ship as OP and also try to think about the 'good' things about school but cant really figure them out :(

Try and organise your time. Do your homework, and afterwards do IM. School is important.

i don't mean school is NOT important, but "always comes first" def not true.

Ok then tell us, he's 15 what comes first for him now? School is not only about knowledge, its about social interaction. We all see how much we spend inside in front of a PC and only strong minds can fight with the feeling of being anti-social.

social interraction?
i start to think peopl here don't have friends and families at all
as they consider school/outside job/university as the only way of being "social"

i don't have a 9-5 job, i don't study now (finished)
i go to 2 scport sections, go out with my friends newarly every night and i travel every 3-5 months
i am not "social"? really? because i don't go to school and have a job? lol

if u need to go school/work to be SOCIAL and u can't communicate with lots of people without that - then u have a problem.
i don't need it, and i am 100% happy about that

and btw he talked not about abandoning school
he talked about where he should put more efforts - school or his im\business

and my opinion - if you like im, if you see serious stable results, if you see your future in IM and your career in it - go for it.

@OP, it seems like you're not making enough to impress your father lol.

Either bank hard or keep IM and school balanced in your life.

Just my opinion:

Stick with school until you've graduated from high school at least. You can do IM like any other part time job you'd have at the time, and work on it all summer if you'd like. Literally, stick with it and see what happens. You'll have plenty of time after getting home from school to work on IM at night, trust me.

In the next 3~ years of your life, you might develop a new passion for something else as you take on your studies. You'll either be sufficient and happy doing IM and go on to do that, or go to a college. Just give it a few years and keep with school, because it's hard to decide what you want to do now. You might just regret dropping out/slacking off on your studies when it comes to be 2015 and you're trying to get into colleges, but your grades were terrible.

School always comes first, no matter what.
I Disagree. There are people who make more money than they would when they're 40-50 with their degree.
I will still attend uni next year "incase" things go REALLY bad with IM, which won't. I'm doing it as a backup plan + for experience.

School if anything like everyone said social interaction, building peers.
if you really are raking in the cash with IM why not just get someone to fill the jobs for you.

"Just look at us. Everything is backwards. Everything is upside-down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information, and religion destroys spirituality."---Michael Ellner

I dropped out when I was 17 years old, not because I had to walk a mile to school in the hood but because it lacked good teachers that didnt motivate me,teachers from other countries who could barely speak english...I felt like my school outsource our dam teachers and we all know how shitty rewriters are who are not native english writers(You cant understand that shit!).

I discovered Internet marketing when I was 19 and now Im 26 and ranking and banking and got so much more plans on making so much more money its so beautiful I say to you my friend fuck school unless your willing to spend a lot of days not sleeping studying bhw and then trying the shit then just go to school because in this industry just like all other industries there your top earners and low earners and average earners. Right now Im averaging $300-800 a day(because I spent many 16 hours a day on bhw then trying it out) so call me what you want I think I am apart of the crowed of top earners on bhw.probably top 20% I know I know theres some people out there banking 500000/day like diamond dave ;)

(and for those who comment on my grammar/spelling, Im not sorry I don't pay my writers with English degrees who went to school hahaha to write my bhw comments :) only my unique content I dominate google with.)
