Back to an old trusted method of generating new content which is now dressed up with a new descriptor namely ? Newsjacking

Nothing new here, have been doing it for years, moreover often secures new viral backlinks and never fails to bring in new real time traffic?

Just posting as a reminder tip when building new content ? newsjacking is always an option to use on a regular basis or on an as needed basis?

NB ? Do not just copy n paste a news clip as that may get you a G slap?

Just take 5 to 10 minutes to re-write the newsjack?

Newsjacking ? meaning ? a new buzz word to describe how publishers use a selected clip of news text which they integrate into publisher?s own brand articles for self promotion.

Indeed, this is the strategy we're using when we write gadget news and review articles. We've been writing content for some huge gadget-related sites and this 'newsjacking' technique makes our work a lot easier.

IMHO, 'newsjacking' is just a buzz word (as you said) that most people aren't aware of but they've been doing this for years as well.
