I am probably posting this again as it probably has been posted before (I couldn't find any though).

What I see too much some of the times is a member, unintentionally (or intentionally), leaving their signature
on another BST thread, which may or not may be a competitor service in a way.

What this results in is a huge clutter of unneeded signatures in BST threads and it ends up driving away too much traffic from
the actual BST thread itself.

There are times when members also post completely generic statements such as "good luck with the service" and then
post their signature.

I probably have unintentionally done this in the past too, so maybe there should be a new way where Jr VIP's signatures
are automatically removed from showing in all BST threads..?

Or maybe to enforce the rule.. to start giving out temp bans/infractions.

you are reading my mind +1

this will make sure that the replies will be quality ones since it will force only users that have an actual interest in the service to respond.

WTF... Aren't you confident enough to let your BST compete with a signature? It is the customers decision, and as highly frequent BST buyer I can tell you, that i did not buy one time an other BST because someone with a siglink posted in a BST.
BHW is heavily full of obscure rules enough, not one more of a guy fearing the competition.
BTW: If you ask for that, why don't you ask for a deactivation of the felt 1K banners here on BHW advertizing different services.

When I first bought a BST by you and you pm'd me to remove my sig in your BST it was clear to me to never buy again.

Here we go :)

I'd rather have a BST which is clean and straight to the point with one service than have one with
10-20 other flashing images and signatures around too.

Secondly, some people post comments JUST to get their signature in the post.

Again, people are gonna like the idea and some won't. A BST thread is a personal thread to a seller,
where he/she is selling a service. There's enough ads already. We don't need 20 other animated
ads around on the thread.

You're wrong when you say I fear competition. I love competition :)

You should have added a voting pool to see our opinions. Talking from my point of view, I never get distracted by signatures. If still somehow a sig catches my eyes, I open the link in a new window and I get to it after I finish reading the current thread. Anyway your idea sounds good.

I agree, I have seen this happen alot, like they said it might be unintentional

Pretty clear who like to troll BST threads and drop sig images.

I think the OP's idea is stellar +1

This place is a clutter mess of SEO hacks and Pimps with about 10% real shit and the rest ... just annoying eye-strain.

+1 [ billion ] on OP

I know, I should of.

I know man, this is JUST my opinion... some people won't agree with it and I completely understand :) I just wanted to add in a suggestion because this IS the suggestion forum section. But yeah, thanks for your advice on the poll.

This is the reason on Warrior Forum they disable signatures in the WSO section.

I hope this gets passed on as an automatic removal. In the meantime it's common courtesy (IMO) to tick the remove sig box before you post, even if the your sig is unrelated.

Agreed with that.

I agree. Before normal members had their signatures disabled I'd click the button to not post a signature just because if it was my sales thread I'm very particular and wouldn't want the motivational quotes that was common in the signatures for although very unlikely I'd still prefer to eliminate the clutter from distracting my potential buyers.

It's admittedly bullshit. I don't even have a thread in the BST and I've recognized how lucrative it is to make early posts in some of these threads. Targeted viewers + (practically) free banner advert = will be exploited.

Since you can't stop donors from making cheesy one line posts just to get their banner in you should probably just remove signatures from the BST altogether.

Exactly!

a signature is one of the main advantages for donors. so i am against a removal anywhere.
if you have a sales thread your service and reviews should speak for themself and bring ou the orders. if someone is clicking on another banner he probably is not impressed with the offer he did just read.
