I always had this fantasy: buying an economic fare...then with the touch of "magic" fly first or business class.

Do you think is remotely possible or I am just dreaming?

Hi,

I always ask at checkin and during boarding, sometimes they offer cheap rates or if you can build a rapport with the person behind the desk they'll chuck you up for free, rare though =/

Unless you mean hacking into their system, you're dreaming big time lol ;)

Rare :) Tried it before at the counter and didn't go too well..

lol are you kidding me guys? If I wanted to be nice, I'd contact customer care, not a Black Hat forum...

Really? Because a system is hacker-proof or because you don't know how to do it?

Then what exactly do u want to do? You don't mean hacking, you don't mean asking nice. You want us to buy the ticket for you?

It's not possible until you have a good relation with desk person.

LOL :) Of course I meant hacking or cracking whatever is more appropriate.

Very Possible! Get an AMEX Black Card. Most airlines give you free first class upgrade, I generally fly with Delta and get the free upgrade 90% of the time. The only time I don't receive it is if first class is already fully booked by paying customers.

I don't live in America.

Come on, I am only wondering if it is possible to hack an airlines server and change the booking after you pay for economic fare.

It's just a curiosity, I am not asking to do it. Doing it would be fraud and am not asking anyone to commit fraud.

I fly US Airways a lot, and many times you can upgrade to first class for $200 per person. I fly to Jamaica at least 3-4 times per year, and there are always first class available. For $200 per person it is worth it to me. Shit, the wife and I drink at least $150 in liquor, and bags are free. Take into account free food, and getting on and off the plane first, and it is certainly worth it for me.

All the other airlines I have tried only offer upgrades to their frequent fliers or want to charge outrageous amounts.

Yes that's right, try with any long route such as London - Sydney : good luck with that, you are looking at 4 figures.
