Images rank high, page doesn't

Hello I have a slight problem with ranking, don't know what caused this.

My images are ranking high, 1st 2nd 3rd for different keywords, and via GWM it also shows that my avg. position for those keywords is 1.0 or 1.2 or 2.2 . On serpbook it says I don't rank at all for those keywords.

And as I searched for the keywords on G , only my images are ranking, and my pages where those images are don't.

Does someone know why is this happening?

Looks like you've received a penalty. Do you have webmaster tools attached to your website?

It might be penalty, since I was trying something out with some cheap/weak backlinks 2 years ago.
But the site then had little content/other design (since I was only trying out stuff on it).

Now it has totally new content and niche, and the pages/posts that are missing rank are only a month or 2 old.

Any suggestions ?

Possibly a penalty.
If the domain isnt too important ditch it and get a aged high DA and PA domain.
Thats what I did.

Will do that since the domain is nothing special.
About GWM , should I just use "delete site" for the current domain, and then add my new domain, as a new site ?
