If it's your site then go to your wp-login.php and click lost your password. There you can enter your email address to retrieve your password. If you've forgotten your email then I'm going to guess it's not your site.

look for a table named: "wp_users"

phpmyadmin --> "wp_users"

the password is MD5, you cannot recover it to normal encoding, but you can set a new one (with MD5 encoded first)

Only problem with doing it that way is, it will give you the username in a clean format but the pass will be in a md5 hash format. If he has no codeing knowledge or the password is stronger than your basic "password1234" then it won't do him any good

OP if you desperately need to recover the old password then you can google "reverse md5 coders" or "reverse md5 hash" and hope your pass has been cracked before.
