Hello,

Big amazon seller looking to increase ranking for product pages and we are willing to pay for results. We sell accessories for cellphones and tablets but sales are going slow as competition in our nishe is tough. We have great product images (processed with professional equipment), rich descriptions, great quality on our products due to 5 awesome fulltime employees doing quality control, as proof of our customer service/product quality we have 99% seller rating and we are only doing FBA. since we are manufacturer we are able to compete in price and we are still not seeing any decent sales. We have an employee responsible for listing and doing research for keywords and i'am pretty sure he is doing a great job.

Sofar we havent tried many strategies to increase sales, only tried doing backlinks with poor results. If someone have experience in this area and interested to work with us on consulting basis or have other suggestions feel free to answer this ad with contact information and preferably skype id.

Just a quick and "free" tip - build some squidoo lenses with something like "Top 5 [one of your products]" and promote it. You can list 5 of your products or only the first 2-3 to be more "impartial" in your review. The Squidoo lenses are a lot easier to rank + they have internal traffic

if you are really trying to make money on amazon shoot me a PM amazon is a different monster than regular ecommerce site.

I can your items to sell and keep selling on amazon and once i get them to sell they sell forever even crappy stuff in any niche except media because I wont battle with amazon since its a category that I never touch.

Selling on amazon takes a while. Slow process building your rank. More sales= better rank and this takes patience.

Amazon is very different than traditional SEO. Those suggesting that you build backlinks or Squidoo lens' obviously do not understand Amazon. You need a higher reputation within Amazon so that their system shows your products more than the competition (assuming you have multiple vendors for your products). Another approach is to build feeder sites that direct traffic to your Amazon listings (those can be SEO'd using traditional methods). With your high quality imagery you should also consider video reviews (again your can drive the traffic to your Amazon listings). Lots of strategies, but just need to think a bit differently (especially in your field where the margins are very narrow - you need volume).
