Make $1000 selling mobile apps

Hi there Lisa, Here in my experience are the replies to you questions 1. At least 70% of all the apps I have create do not have a website. But everyone has a facebook page. All you need to create an app is a few photos. 2. No Extra fee 3. A lot of my clients update their daily specials and send a mass message saying "today's special : Egg on toast" when you open the app the message opens in full and you can even add an image Hope this helps
Ok, thanks. 1- So I would have to create the images myself. 3- Can the owner of the dinner send the notification himself or will he have to send me the message and I send it. Sorry, not very familiar with how apps work from the developers side.

What do you charge a business, say a restaurant, to create an app or a mobile website? Do you offer push notifications?

I started off cheap at 199 euros for each platform so the package was 400 euros (2 OS). Monthly charges of ranging from 19.99 for no push notifications & 39.99 with 7 push notifications per week.

I have now take my prices up 250 per platform and generally sell $1000 package with 4 OS. Monthly stay the same.

But if you charge $19.99 a month with NO push notifications what are you charging them monthly for then? I would understand someone paying a monthly fee to send push notifications.

1. Yes you create images for the background yourself.
3. Yes you have a white label CMS to give the customer at c-m-s.mobi from here your customer can send push notifications & add photos, videos etc to his or her app. All very user friendly.

Access to the C-M-S so they can update the app and add photos etc.. but almost everyone takes with push notification.

This is a great concept by the way. Not sure why some guys are so angry out there haha. But you have to be an self motivated person to go out there and make your own B2B schedule happen, which is probably why they are shooting down the idea since most internet marketers don't see sunlight for 6 out of 7 days a week (I said most, not all, no need for the tears and remarks).

But would you mind telling me a bit more about your pitch and selling points to get the actual appointment and make the sale? I PMed you also, thanks!

I understand people getting angry with you trying to promote your own website but I think this method can actually work if utilized correctly to the right areas. With some creativity and out of the box thinking, I'm sure you can make a good living offering these apps to local business owners.

I have spoken to the team to and told them about your ideas and the bug you told me about.

i cant say exactly the amout cause it varies from business to business, but what i can say is that i start with $500 for basic stuff and hosting and maintenance $29/month and no push notifications, if there are promotions, they are not included, it depends on their budget and how much traffic they want to get

Thanks! What would you say, from experience, if the conversion rate for sign ups? If I go out and contact 100 local businesses you think I will get any? Any hints or advise on how to pitch this to a manager or owner of a business?

Hi there,

No there are 4 packages and they start at 9.99 and finish at 39.99. Depending on push notifications and platforms but no hidden charges or promotion charges.

Hi there,

Here is how I personally do online pitching. I find a list of businesses in my area and I add them as friends on facebook. I then ask if they use facebook for advertising if so would they like a better way of contacting customers.

For easier sales younger business owners understand apps more (but that is not in all cases).

I don't work a lot I live a "4-hour workweek" and this allows me to do this. I generally sell a couple per week.

N.B: I will post more about my pitch etc. but I need to translate it.

Thats a good idea to contact them via Facebook first.

Dude you're so full of it. So you're saying that all you need is a couple of pictures to create an app and then sell it for $1000??

Stop misleading people to join your crappy service.

Who's angry?

Is not the method that's the issue here, this is common knowledge nothing special.

The problem is that this dude is just pimping his service which is not allowed to begin with.
He's making it seem that all you need to do is buy into his service, send friend requests, spend a few hours a week "working" and sell a few apps for thousands of $$ ....He's full of shit! plain and simple and I want to make sure he has a hard time deceiving people.

Good morning all, thanks for the wonderful post from my biggest fan carlikito lol. I'm just guessing he must be an appdev.

When using Facebook I try directly to find the owner and add him/her as a friend.

Speak to you all later.

Anyone managed to create an app? I would love to see your work.
