It's an emergency - Updated

Congrats on the new born. I hope your wife will be better soon. Wish you well, you and your family.

Small Update

Well, not too much to update right now. The lowest she has came down is 139 over 84 but then she spikes back up to around 150 over 90. It keeps bouncing in that range. We also found out yesterday that heart problems and stroke is in her family.

The Good News

On the upper hand, she is still able to speak, and seems to be doing better despite the very high blood pressure. Once she is well enough to come home she will have to be on a blood pressure monitor.

My Own Stress

As some know by now who have me on skype, once she comes home she will be on bed rest for several weeks, and I will have to wait on her hand and foot and take care of all of our babies..... I don't mind because I just want her to be ok, but unfortunately the bill collectors have no sympathy. For anyone who sells jewelry, I have an auction right now on ebay for a wholesale lot of assorted fake jewelry that I am trying to sell to compensate for some of our bills, and I have a pledgie campaign set up. We are not allowed to post links here for that sort of thing, but if anyone is interested in either of those, you can skype me at nfc2011nfl I am not online too much, but I will check periodically.

Thanks For Your Prayers

The prayers have been working, and it looks like she will make it through this. I didn't mention this yesterday, but Saturday night I felt a since of calmness take over my body and spirit (like god was telling me she will be ok) and every since then I haven't worried too much. I do occasionally have my doubts, but each time I do I either come here and am relieved by warm comments, or my friend Oldsalt will text me something wise like he is known for. I just want to thank everyone not only for your support now, but this whole year that has been so rough, and I would not have made it through without your support. Thanks :)

James, the BP figures are high, but STILL controllable. UNTIL the diastolic pressure hovers above 100 constantly, take this as a general rule only, the blood pressure IS still very manageable.

What does her ECG say? It must have been monitored during the hospital stay. As she was in stage 3 and 4 even for some hours, her heart and circulatory system must have taken a huge beating.

All those things need to be gradually brought down first to manageable levels like stage1, and then to normal. So keep faith, she IS going to be alright. Now think about how much stress a pregnancy has on a woman's mind and physique. Multiple pregnancies in a relatively small age can be very dangerous...

As much as you being like a dear brother, she is like a sister for me. You both are important, and so are your children... get them greatest of love, care, education, and upbringing. They will need you both until they are adults, and also thereafter they will be needing your guidance to lead their own happy lives...

I shouldn't be telling all these things now, but please understand her condition from this angle. She has taken a huge beating during this time, so make this now a completely happy family! I think that you now really have a very complete family... :)

I wish you and your very good family all the fun and happiness, and also very good health all the time! God bless!

I truly believe that your Faith along with the many Prayers and Positive Energy from the many people around the world helped to make the difference. Yes, Doctors, Nurses and many others had a hand in her turn-around but to me, they can only do so much. I know that not everyone believes the same way I do - and I respect that, but I have Faith and that helps me through my life.

My Prayers are now in Thanks for the healthy birth of your son and the wonderful turn-around of your Wife. Yes, this will be long term - but things are looking so much better now and that's great to hear.

Those are some great words, OldSalt! One must always remember to give Thanks to the almighty before & after a prayer, and also after the results begin appearing! God loves these thoughts of being of help to HIS dear children and their acknowledgment in kind helps HIS own HEART to do more wonders! :)

I have been giving my Thanks to HIM in this case ever since I got the first good NEWS that the baby was very healthy (his pic shows him to be searching for all of us! Smart boy! :)) and her BP was getting stable. Thanks a lot, again dear God Almighty! Love you all! :)

This Just Now In

The doctor said that she will be on meds the rest of her life, and now we also have to change our eating menu. I'm ok with that. I just hate to see a 24 year old woman have to take meds the rest of her life. But it's better than the alternative :)

being alive and having a sound mental state is better than the other options.Congrats on the baby man.hope everything works out ok for you.

Just checking your updates. 24 years old....Don't know what to say, just makes me feel sad. Will her situation be better when she is on meds? Oh, what is the name of the little one? (only if you want to share)

Just got some GREAT NEWS!

James' Wife and Baby boy will be on their way home in about 2 hours!

He is very busy and asked if I would post it for him. Very good news indeed! Daily meds and blood pressure monitoring can be managed - but being HOME with your family is always great medicine as well.

Hearty Congrats To James Who Got A Lovely New Member To His Family...........:)

Wishing Everything Good To His Wife........:)

She'll Get Soon Well Definitely.

Thanks bud :)

It was a HUGE surprise! I didn't think they would let her go this soon, but I guess they got the blood pressure low enough that meds will take care of the rest... I'm just sooo happy that my wife and baby will be home.. Now the hard part starts, but I couldn't be more ready :)

That is the best news! my family sends their best to you and yours.

Great! Thank God!

James, with HIM, all things are possible! Enjoy & take care!

God bless!

You all, Stay Very Very Happy & Healthy!

Enjoy the present and don't worry about the future! There would be a miracle medicine soon and it shall cure all your worries!

Being home is the best medicine the Doctors could prescribe. She'll heal faster there and don't worry about being on medication the rest of her life. The body changes and adapts all the time. What appears to be all her life now could be no need for those in a few months. So happy to hear she's coming home!

James, that's wonderful news!
It'll be tough (I have a disabled wife and young one at home, so believe me, there will be times that your strength will be tested) - but I have no doubt you'll pull through stronger than ever :)
Best to you and your growing family!
