It's an emergency - Updated

Let HIM handle it from now!

I can see you all together very soon, happy and healthy! And all these prayers are working too... I believe that they ARE.

God bless!

So happy everything is getting better bro, last night I couldnt sleep very well because you are a great guy and I know how much you care (and love) your family. And congrats for the new baby :D

Thanks for the chart bud. I had to edit my post above though. It was actually 157 over 97... I haven't heard anything else since that conversation, so I take that as a good sign. I'm sure if anything got worse that they would call me.

All the smokers reading this ought to take a moment to really think things over. I quit smoking 3 years ago after trying and failing for over 15 years. We all hope for the best for 2011NFL, his wife and his family, but don't care more for someone else and their family more than you do for yourself and your family.

Just spoke with my wife again

I just spoke with my wife again, and her blood pressure has now went down to 157 over 97 (stage 1 high). When she went in she was somewhere between stage 3 and stage 4. I'm not sure exactly what her pressure was then, but I will find out later.

Like i said its Easter, if good things can't happen now, then when? Congrats on ur baby boy and hope you will have ur wife in ur arms again very soon.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

First thing I did today once I got on the computer, was check this thread.

I was a bit scared to check, my faith was too weak, but this is the best news I've heard in a long long time.

I know there is still a way to go, but unlike what you read in newspapers everyday, Good things do happen to Good people.

There will be many reasons for the improvement, strongest of which would've been Jame's support to his wife, his hope and faith, as well as the excellent hospital care, but the thread also highlights the power of community spirit. Jame's wish to keep us informed could've helped more than we imagined, I pick out two posts below.

Keep the baby next to her - he is the best motivation for her to heal herself.

When something similar to this happened to a woman I know, they put the baby on her chest as much as possible. It's supposed to lower the blood pressure. I am praying for your wife!

As Red says. Happy Easter everyone, especially to James and family, events like these make your bonds of love get stronger.

New Update:

Her blood pressure is now 144 over 87 which is still stage 1, but right above borderline. Progress is being made and she is alert and speaking still, and actually remembered our phone number! I can't complain :)

She said he is doing good. I still don't know all of the specifics yet, but I will let everyone know as they come in. That actually makes me think. I need to ask all of the specific questions. I have been so worried about their safety that I haven't even asked the basics.... Hell I wouldn't even had known he was a boy if my mother in law didn't tell me.....

Our Baby Boy

As for our baby boy, he is in perfect health so far. No issues to report there. :)

Thanks James for the update. I'm not sure what her bp is normally but I know my wife has similar bp a lot of the time, especially when she forgets her high bp medicine. I think they'll probably release her before too long. Sounds like she's pretty stable and maybe all her worrying about the kids while in the hospital has something to do with the elevated bp.

I've been watching for an update and happy to hear the baby is in good shape and I think Mom is well on her way back home.

Best wishes!

Very good news indeed that things are looking MUCH better. You did GREAT by calling right away and obviously they did a great job getting there very quickly and getting her to the hospital!

OP, man, have you ever heard about homeopathy? Some say its some random mumbo jumbo BS, but reality is that Homeopathy CAN and HAS helped people in that EXACTLY SAME situation.

Anyway, everyone should try homeopathy, as it has healed millions of people around the globe, no shit.

Got to this thread a bit late - and boy am I glad that things are looking better!

I am praying for all of you. Hope to see everything back to normal and you back online soon. Congratulations on your new family member!
