To have useful PDF reports we would need to create a more visual style of report with some graphs, charts, summaries, etc. It's the next major thing I want to tackle but still haven't come up with a plan I'm satisfied with.

I want to strike the right balance between useful while still being simple and easy to understand. If you guys have some ideas or a wish list feel free to share or shoot me a PM. It will really help me out and make sure I don't miss obvious things and include what you guys really need.

I'm glad that the software is being improved!
As I stated in our PM conversation I would love to see bulk PA/DA check on imported urls. Even if it will take 10 seconds per url. Now I'm doing it manually and it sucks big!

And like in my reply to your PM I'm working on a solution :-)

One feature that I think would be great, or it might already have it and I just havent seen it, is the ability to export penalty links/spam links.
I see the program already labels links with spam, but is there already a way to export those and those only?
Also ability to export by PR, etc

You can already do this by using the filters. Select the "Spam on Page" metric and then set it "eqaul to" "yes". This will display only the backlinks classified as "spam" and then you can use the export option which will export just those links. The same can be done for any of the metrics by playing around with different filter combinations to get the exact data you are looking for.

Just got it to and I love it, I can't believe how much data we get.

I have a feature request, could you make it possible to save a project so it could be loaded again and show all the data for the domain/url in the ui.

Sweet software and amazing UI
There's one little bug I found on 1024x768 rezolution. In the Metrics table where you select "Link Traffic" I only see 4 checkboxes the others I'm assuming they are hidden due to my screen rezolution, a horizontal scroll should be useful

Quick question why is Domain PageRank and Page PageRank columns are not showing PR only "-" ?
And in the Link Type Column it shows "No Follow" and alot of "-". Are the "-" rows do follow links?

Also a must have feature is to be able to export only the backlinks not all the records

I know this question is asked, but I do not understand the answer. So
1. Where does the software get the list of backlinks from?
2. Why do we need the other services MajesticSEO, SEOMOZ etc
3. Will it work without the other services?

Thanks for letting me know. We'll look into this.

Do the links in question have any PR? If not it will remain blank. Also, proxies are needed for PR if you are checking a lot of links. So if you aren't using proxies or don't have enough they could be blocked by Google and unable to retrieve PR.

In regards to follow vs nofollow, we get the nofollow information from our link sources. So if they don't report a link as nofollow you can assume it is do follow.

Thanks for this suggestions also

Thanks for the questions!

1) We get data from seomoz free api, blekko api and seokicks.de
2) You don't need any paid services for the software to function, if however you would like to have additional data and have subscriptions to paid services like aherfs, majestic, etc you can import data from those services.
3) yes :-)

If you have any troubles, feel free to let us know. Glad everyone is pleased so far.

I'm not going to really write a super long, boring review but I will just say
that I am definitely a fan of this.

I have been using this for about a month now and I also had a go at this
quite a few months ago and it is simply a tool worth its money.

It has definitely gone into my arsenal of SEO tools which is a must for me
and believe me... to get into my list, the tool has to be of exceptional quality.

No bugs and the owner is a really great guy, with fast replies on Skype.
Couldn't ask for anything better!

This is an awesome tool, everything works perfect no bugs etc. It's the only tool at this price that gets so many backlinks and so much info about them. I have found so many great links with this which I know g**gle like.

I have a feature request, could you make it possible to save a project so it could be loaded again and show all the data? I find it easier to see the data in Backlink Miner than in excel, thanks.

Another tool - great to hear that, but all users that consider buying it should have in my mind the development of keyword scout, you can check it in this topic:

blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/buy-sell-trade/359097-100-off-keyword-scout-finest-keyword-research-tool-amazon-scraper-addons-more.html

At the beginning it looked very promising, but at this moment we cannot see any new updates for a long time, also no schedulled updates seems to be announced, so the software looks like a dead project.

Unfortunately, I didnt quite have the same experience. I don't have his SKYPE but we did exchange emails for his other development; keyword scout.
To be fair, I like the UI and it looks great. I bought it awhile ago and I encountered several bugs (it wasn't that great to begin with). I exchanged emails a couple times, and I always get excuses or there were times where he said "we will look into this" and I never received a response back. I stopped using it and purchased UNF (by clyde) instead. Not as user-friendly and nice as Keyword Scout, but it works.

Exactly what I meant. Glad someone pointed this out.
Nothing against OP personally, but I would stay away this time (sorry, just personal opinion here)

I do not know much about the history of Keyword Scout. But this tool has nothing to do with it. Yes, the OP sells or has sold that tool also but there is an entirely different team behind this tool. And I will make it known for the first time in this thread that I have an interest in Backlink Miner and I do not just put my name and reputation behind just anything. So please if your gripes are not about this tool please do not post them on this thread. If you have any issues or concerns that you think needs to be addressed you can PM myself or any other mod on this forum. My duties as a mod comes first and I will continue to remain fair and unbiased with all decisions that I make on this forum.

Hey macdonjo,

Is this tool also usefull for researching German websites?

What are the backlink sources which this tool uses, without having a paid majesticseo/ahrefs/seomoz subscription?

Regards,
