Best anti-virus for PC

Just bought a Dell touchscreen and havent used a PC in quite some time so I have no clue what the best ant-virus / security programs are. I got it so I can run some windows program because running windows on the MBP was making it lag bad.

So whats everyones thoughts on the best security program to use?

Kapersky is supposed to be one of the better ones.

I use AVG and am perfectly fine with it.

I been using AVG for a while. Seems pretty good, also used Kaspersky in the past, but i think I prefer AVG.

I hate kaspersky. Eats so much RAM its unbelievable. I use the COMODO IS + Firewall and Malwarebytes.
