Any interest for a Blackhat Programming Class?

Yes, that's precisely what I'm offering. Our membership site has all the videos and in depth notes for basic/intermediate material and the forum & email are available for more advanced topics.

Headspin, it's a good idea but with so many people interested, it might be better to just record yourself doing it and have a membership site with all the videos for the basic and 1 on 1 training for the more advanced stuff. Just an idea.

1) I would be very interested in some of this, if you do VB .NET I would consider teaching Auto it instead of iMacros as it is very powerful, and the syntax is almost the same. Also cover some basic MySQL and heavily cover recursion and looping as they are incredibly useful.
2) Auto it, you can have it automate tasks outside of just the browser, such as communicating with DB's, managing files, processing records, etc. It can also work with controls and the IE toolset is awesome and easy to use
3) PHP would be okay, but .NET with visual web studio and using LINQ pretty much does it without writing any code, I would rather some people pick up some basic Databasing info
4) I recently wrote software that did all of these along with a few extras, completely automated and I could definitely chime in on it, it used ASP .NET and MSSQL server and Autoit

I would be open to helping if anyone really wanted to push this idea forward, I have a BS in CS

Is the class open now for signup?

Yes, it is. Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM you the link.

@MaximusNeo: Thanks for your input. We thought very carefully about the class contents, the point is to teach programming with an emphasis on web automation as quickly and painlessly as possible. As I update the class with extra tutorials I will probably add some of the stuff you suggested.

Could you please make a thread in BST section as you had done for the previous class linked by you for reviews?

Headspin, I sent you a pm regarding my membership. My username on your forum is the same here.

It will be a great initiative plus it is always good to have your hands in coding. I too can help people.

For those of you who were around BHW in 2008 you might remember me as the guy with the (very successful) blackhat programming class for beginners. Since then I've been away from the world of blackhattery but I get emails every now and then from people who still want the class even though a few sections of it are now totally outdated.

Anyway, I'm thinking of making a new class teaching mainly VB .NET, covering the same topics as before and also some more advanced topics, with even more blackhat code examples, tutorials, and pre-made code classes that you can use to jump start your own projects. The outline of the new, "reloaded" class would go something like this

1) VB .NET basics - variables, structures, functions, file IO, communicating with websites and web APIs, XML wrappers
2) iMacros tutorials for blackhat applications - including combining iMacros and VB .NET
3) PHP - basics and a bit on curl
4) Blackhat tutorials: scrapers, autoposters, craigslist autoflagger, proxy checkers, etc. Video-based tutorials all with re-usable code for your own projects.

Like the original class, this one would have one-on-one mentoring via e-mail and/or IM and be priced in the $50 region. I will of course make a proper BST thread whenever the class is completed, and I should stress that I'm not selling anything in this thread.

Would anyone be interested in this? Any suggestions for extra features in the class?

If there's enough interest I aim to have the class up within a couple months.

You can find a link to the original class here:

--Headspin--

I would be interested - I'm familiar with Java, PHP, jQuery etc, and any skills learned would be good to have on my C.V.

Would be great to have these. I have some python experience, could be used as a help.

I'm interested in this but can't pm you because I don't have enough posts.
Can you send me the link?

I'm in. I have some software ideas I'd love to get off the ground.

What are the criterias to be in? I mean do you want only vip members or is it available for all of us?
