For those of you who were around BHW in 2008 you might remember me as the guy with the (very successful) blackhat programming class for beginners. Since then I've been away from the world of blackhattery but I get emails every now and then from people who still want the class even though a few sections of it are now totally outdated.

Anyway, I'm thinking of making a new class teaching mainly VB .NET, covering the same topics as before and also some more advanced topics, with even more blackhat code examples, tutorials, and pre-made code classes that you can use to jump start your own projects. The outline of the new, "reloaded" class would go something like this

1) VB .NET basics - variables, structures, functions, file IO, communicating with websites and web APIs, XML wrappers
2) iMacros tutorials for blackhat applications - including combining iMacros and VB .NET
3) PHP - basics and a bit on curl
4) Blackhat tutorials: scrapers, autoposters, craigslist autoflagger, proxy checkers, etc. Video-based tutorials all with re-usable code for your own projects.

Like the original class, this one would have one-on-one mentoring via e-mail and/or IM and be priced in the $50 region. I will of course make a proper BST thread whenever the class is completed, and I should stress that I'm not selling anything in this thread.

Would anyone be interested in this? Any suggestions for extra features in the class?

If there's enough interest I aim to have the class up within a couple months.

You can find a link to the original class here:

I was actually thinking about starting something like this; I program a lot in VB.net and thought teaching it would be fun... If you need any help with this class I'm open to help :)

@ dragonno: Yes, the original thread is 4 years old so the admins have long closed it. If this class gets made it will have a new thread, in which case I'll keep you posted.

@awsomnnick1: Sounds good, I'll PM you if there's enough interest.

This looks like a wonderful opportunity to learn basic programming.
I would definitely be interested in such programming classes!

If what you have planned is for vb .net and imacro for beginners who know nothing.... Then count me in... Drop me a PM if it ever gets off the ground.

I think it will be interested if the BH techniques are up to date :D
You can count me in.

I'm interested in learning to code, especially in php since I use Wordpress. I'd like to learn how to create plugins.

I am interested in the vb or .net class :) sounds interesting

Jokes aside :)

I think you could make some decent cash if you started a nice premium membership site. Like $97/month. I've got enough to run as it is, but as you can see from the replies, there's a market for it.

I would also be interested :)

I read that coaching type of BST isn't allowed though?

Count me in... I took some programming at college, but flunked VB miserably (I know I suck - I'm a writer not a programmer, but I'm still willing to learn :) ) - if you can explain what I need to know in words I can understand, I'm definitely in.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to start working on this new class, will post an update on this thread (and PM anyone who requests it) whenever it becomes available.

I know one of the admins said they're going to work on the rules soon, so I'm not sure if they have yet or not. That rule has been here for a while and I'm not sure what Damien and Greg's take on it is.

I'm sure if you work with Damien and explain you're going to be buying some banner ads, etc from Greg, you may be able to come to an agreement. Just my $0.02.
