Blog comments still works great

Can you share more information about the results and technique that you use? Thanks

Blog commenting is still good for building links, but for only those people who do it right. You'll easy notice many SEO experts and industry professionals leaving meaningful comments on niche-related blogs. Just remember to make things look natural, avoid any kind of spam and you'll see some great benefits coming your way.

Problem is finding do-follow blogs for commenting. I would be hoping to buy a list so to save the time searching with footprints, but then I'd be amazed if there are lists that aren't spammed to death already since everyone's buying them.

I second that...

I test it, use GScraper to post blog comments, and it give me 100+ IP per day.
I suggest two way to use blog comments, high quality list to link money site, other used in 2 layer.

The high quality means low obl, high pr, edu&gov.

Don't forget the comment's content is also import.

Comments are working non stop since forever. Google just devalued spammy backs.

Commenting on blogs is the best technique to build relationship and get traffic. Here I can tell some points what we shouldn't do while we are writing our comments:-
Many bloggers just write there comments with a URL of there homepage without reading the blog what it is talking about. So just go through with the blog and comment accordingly without making any spam comment.I leave the URL which relates with the posts.
If you go with this you might be able to build relationship and to get some more tips there are lots of Money Sites Labs available to tell you more about this.

You need n0follow links in your portfolio now, so put your links regardless of link type. Your profile need to look natural, so a healthy mix of both is needed. (with the latest updates)

If you want to make the most of your blog commenting efforts, always comment to -

1> share additional tips
2> add value to the conversation
3> showcase your expertise
4> network with other blog commenters

Thanks.

yep, that's the only way to also get traffic back not only the link. good advice.

Here's an interesting case. For one of my clients we left a comment on Business Week in an article related to our industry. BW is one of the few online commenting systems that allow for HTML links in the comment without moderation. Over the course of the next 2 months, that one comment drove over 900 unique visitors, and their stats were extremely strong: high time on site, low bounce rate, high pagevisits per view. In fact, that one comment drove more qualified unique visitors than many other channels we were testing including PPC and Facebook ads.

Moral of the story, as some have touched on here, blog commenting in the right spots can really generate good traffic regardless of its value (or lack thereof) as a backlink.

Blog comments are as good as ever. The only difference is now that we can't place links on blogs with 1,000+ OBL on a single post. We have to go after higher quality blogs to drop our links on.

question, better to put your url within the comment itself (with ahref tag) or put it in the website form field? anyone notice diff in 'performance'?

I feel that blog comments work great for getting links to a site. I know that in the past few months, a friend asked me to help him with commenting on blogs for a few of his sites. That is how he gets many of his backlinks.

Yeah blog comments still works great.blog comments will give us a good traffic on our site.
