I found this article about how unstable Bitcoin really is. It definitely makes some valid points. My philosophy is if everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon it's time for me to jump off.

Those are just fake news so the author could jump in. Bitcoin is, IMHO, going to reach $5000 at least, but of course, it will take a while with many ups and downs.

Not likely. Bitcoin has been hacked in the past and could be hacked again. It's getting too big for it's own good.

meanwhile Bitcoin just had a high of $266 today rising by nearly 50$ from yesterday and keeps on rising...making alot of ppl a ton of money!:)

WHOA! I remember it being around $200 yesterday...

Yeah it's just waay too mainstream now. Big red target all over it IMO

Yep, bubbles never burst but when they do watch out. Does anybody use bitcoins for actual transactions by the way?

I accept it on my sites. Nobody uses it though. Its not very noob friendly.

did anybody cash out bitcoins from 2 figure to 3 figures now to real cash?

I would say we should wait. What if it crashes next week and no one ever cares about it anymore? People are mostly interested on making a quick buck on it (including me), but not like a real currency. The hype will be gone just after it crashes, let be honest, until a big payment processor accepts them, there is no future for bitcoin as a real currency, maybe as an investment like now.

Bitcoin has never been hacked. Mtgox was hacked saying bitcoin was hacked is like saying someone robbed a bank so that means the US dollar was hacked.

BitCoin cannot be hacked unless every wallet on every computer in the world has been hacked, and that just wont happen. There is no main office or site for BitCoin, thus, there is no target.

It seems it goes down fast right now.

$260 -> $200 in about 3 hrs.

Bitcoin has not been hacked at any point in time. Some exchanges/people have been hacked, but that is not an attack on Bitcoin. Stop spreading this FUD.
