I think its bit fucked up that you guys would kill someone for stealing your car or your wallet without violence. But if your life was threatened then its different. Wouldn't it be better to make peoples lives so that they don't need to steal and you don't need to carry gun always fearing whats going to happend next?
No one "needs" to steal. And it isn't my, or anyone else's responsibility to "make people's lives" anything. It's THEIR responsibility to "make" something of their life.
I think also you have an incomplete understanding of what "theft" really is. It's a form of slavery. In full-on slavery, the purpose of the slave's existence is to exert themselves in order to provide material benefit to someone else. In theft, the labor that went into whatever is being stolen, is what is
actually being stolen. While the victim spent that time & energy earning the money to buy that car, they only THOUGHT they were providing material benefit for themselves, when in fact, it is realized that after the theft, that time was actually spent enslaved to the thief, who stole that time & energy and used it for their purposes. Retroactive slavery; Theft enslaves you after the fact.
The founders of the United States had a lot of different words and phrases to describe this concept of the "fruits of your labors" or the "pursuit of happiness" or other ways to describe the general purpose all individual's existence and I believe it is people's ignorance of this concept that allows states & governments to take away people's freedom and enslave them instead. And while it may be difficult to describe every individual person's purpose for existence, the thing that is absolutely certain is that it is NOT to serve the purposes of the State, nor those that control it. Be it the state as controlled by the Monarchy, or a particular political party, or a corporate oligarchy. They serve us; we do not serve them. And if it comes to a choice between either/or, it is they that must be destroyed in order to preserve our rights and freedoms, and not the other way around.
Time on this planet is finite. Opportunities in life are infinite. All men are created equal, and yet some men achieve extraordinary things, while others achieve nothing at all. We are all given freedom, and choice, and we all have the same opportunities for greatness. Some understand and accept this, and all of the responsibilities that come with it, while others do not, and look to God, their government, their neighbors, "the community", their friends, parents, anyone & everyone else but themselves to provide for their daily needs and comforts.
In short, they are children in adult bodies asserting child-like beliefs as if they were legitimate alternatives to how things really are. And other fools believe them, and follow.
And so we come full circle and discover that this is where the thieves come from; this ignorance of the god-mandated duty of individual responsibility. Both the thief and the emotionally stunted liberals that create and encourage them believe that there are "other" standards by which people should amass material wealth. "From each according to their means, to each according to their needs." can become bastardized into any shape imaginable, and ultimately it is discovered that the fundamental truth of this alternative philosophy is "We take it from you, because we can.", and from this perspective, there is no difference between the thief, and the compassionate liberals that advocate on their imprisoned behalf. The liberals say "But for the grace of God go I." and they are correct, liberals are thieves at heart, and they are both cut from the same cloth. Only difference being that some are in prison, while others have managed to avoid it.
And that is the only difference between them.
This is why liberals fear guns, and demand gun control. And also why they advocate soft-on-crime approaches to dealing with the criminal element. They ARE the criminals, and the understand that our gun ownership is for a very distinct purpose. That purpose is that someday, to defend our lives, our property and our freedom, we may have to kill them. And, if it comes to that, that is exactly what we will do, and without hesitation before, nor remorse afterwards. They fear us, and our guns, and they should, because in a metaphoric sense, every single one of those guns are aimed directly at them, and we're willing to pull the trigger, and they know it. And so they must have gun control, and take those guns away from us, so that they can feel safe, and steal our property, and our freedom, and enslave us.
To them, our non-producing inferiors that exist only by the fruits of our labors. They presume to attempt to enslave US, to THEM.
