[SEO METHOD] How To Build Authority Web 2.0 BackLinks - Step by Step

ok one more quick question can I use the same email for different web 2.0 blogs or should i switch it up on each one.

I'd suggest using completely different email addresses for each property (even different providers - hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.). If you want to try using the same email address for all just make sure the username's and bios/profiles are different.

Thanks for sharing this. Extremely good. +Rep :)
That was a lot reading!! A lot of useful reading :icecream1 Thanks for sharing!

great work OP, thanks left

You're Welcome! Glad it helps!

is a free proxy or vpn service acceptable enough to hide the IP address or do you really have to pay to make this worthwhile?

I don't have much experience with free VPNs. I personally hate free proxies because all of the ones I've tried are trash. As long as your IP is TRULY masked, you should be fine. I do know that some free options don't really hide your real IP, so be careful.

ok thanks so much for the help. i hear google can still tell if someone is using a vpn but i guess since im not scamming adsense or cpa offers they wouldn't investigate that much into seeing if i made an authority blog on different websites. thanks so much for the motivation and useful information. very helpful

This is actually the same method that I have just started working on. I've never seen such detail and you've cleared up a lot of my questions. I really appreciate the time that you put in to this. I have 2 questions that I have been dying to ask someone who knows. I apologize beforehand if these questions seem dumb, I'm still VERY new at this.

1) If my money sites keyword is "best dog parks", should I try to rank my tier 1 blog/article as "best dog parks"? It seems like I would be competing with my money site doing this, so should I go with a variation?

2) I know that you said to use a proxy. Does this mean that Google has a way of knowing that it's me? I know they can on my own website but I thought it was different for domains that you don't own. If so, can Google also know that it's me when using Squidoo/Ezine and etc?

Thank you again.

I didn't think link wheels worked anymore... Great guide though :)

Hi, glad you like the guide! These arent link wheels, though, they don't link between Web 2.0 properties.

yea I think for Adsense and things they can tell if you're using a proxy, but I'm not sure if they can get your real IP - maybe they can. Consider it as being extra safe and also making sure you don't get dinged for creating too many accts on the same web2.0 property with the same IP - could be seen as spam and end up blocking you.

Thanks! I'm really glad I could help.

1) no I wouldn't try ranking your Web 2.0 article/post for your main money keyword. Use the method in the guide for finding long tails to find a good long tail keyword and try to rank your article for THAT long tail. Keep your money keyword for your money site.

2) No one really knows what google can and can't see/do/etc. but consider it trying to be extra safe and ensuring you can keep creating new accounts on those web 2s. And also if there is any way google can tell which IP creates an account/blog (I personally think they can) then you're hiding yourself and making things look more natural

hope that helps!

Question: Long term wise, like 6 months to a year or more, what is more powerful?

1) Having your own web2 blog network like mentioned in the OP?

OR

2) Building your own real website network on actual domains, that's created for that niche?

Example > Main money site = dogtraining[dot]com

And a net of real, related websites pointing to above money site (these would also be in the
same niche with similar content) = dogworld[dot]com or doggienation[dot]net or someotherdog[dot]org

So which one should be more powerful in the long term?

Yes, it would be shitload of work to maintain, but I think a net of actual related websites should
start getting much more powerful than web 2's in the long run? Plus, no ban/removal of sites. Yes of course
they would be PR 0 to begin with, but relevance factor would be unbelievably high.

Any thoughts?

yea I think building full blogs/websites on your own domains definitely add some trust/authority to your links, since they are unique and not subdomains of a web2.0 platform that you get for free.

But of course, you're starting from absolute scratch (I.e domain not even indexed, brand new site, etc). So in your tiered links you'd have to go slow and be careful, linking to the real buffer site like you would an actual money site.

Its a lot more effort (and money) but is definitely worth a try. I'd like to see the results of some tests around this done.

if you keep adding content/post to those web 2.0, after how many moneysite links it start to give diminishing returns of linkjuice?

I have a question, for those of you that are so obsessed with tiered link building.

I get the point of why you guys are using these, but here's my question....

Once you've created some perfectly powerful social tiers and start blasting the piss out of them -- it's obvious that this alone will NOT rank a site, let along a competitive keyword.

So -- how many times would someone need to rinse and repeat this process? "Until it works" ?

I've tried this before, and it doesn't work for competitive terms, in fact I rinsed and repeated the task hundreds of times over.

What's your input here?

What in the world, you claim yourself as a seoguru, even has a tierd linkbuilding tutorial thread, and then you claim it doesnt work?.

Politico,

Any advice about when to create the Web 2.0 sites? I don't know if it matters when they are all created, since they won't be linking to each other, but I assume it is best to vary the creation date of each Web 2.0 site and the date each filler blog is posted? I'm anxious to try this out and I can create several Web 2.0 sites today if it is safe to do so. I want to get the ball rolling. Thanks for your help!

Sorry everyone, wasn't getting updated through email. If I don't get to anyones question here, feel free to ask again

No but I bet it's yours

This is a very useful and informative post on seo.

Thanks!

Good question. I don't know, but pretty much anything after the first link probably offers diminishing returns. Best to leave it to 1-3 and move on imho.

Awesome tutorial ! Great share ! Thank you very much!

Great method and would love to see the next thread!

Your welcome! Will try to get to it soon.

Yea varying the date helps make it look more natural. The great thing about scheduling posts is you can do all the setup in one or two days and automatically let it drip out over time on different dates.
