Just received some fake Paypal e-mails - They look real!

Heey everyone,

I just want to warn you guys! Today I received a very real looking e-mail of scammers that someone else logged in on my Paypal account. So I opened it in safe mode and it links to a other site, not Paypal!

The e-mail looks very real, know my full name and not in the spam folder!

Maybe old news, maybe not but I just wanted to let you guys know.

Nah, Just check in the message mate
I think PP never sends you a mail saying "x.xx.xxx.xxx ip has logged into your account"
They limit the account simply, if I am not wrong

its the scam to steal the accounts its old i thought they stop it that but it seems they are back

1) Paypal always references your name within the email. Not "Dear Member"
2) Paypal never locks your account if you do not log in under X amount of time
3) Paypal never informs you that xx.xx.xx.xx IP has logged into your account
4)"Your paypal account has been Violated" <-that sentence would never be used by any professional entity.
Did my paypal account just get molested? wow.

It does look realistic but it shows of scam alll over. They need to work a lot harder to be convincing. lol Violated

Any time you see this just go to your paypal account and sign in. If they really sent a notice, it will be there in your account. Go there on your own, not following any link.

You should also forward that e-mail to [email protected] so they can add it to the bad actors lists.
