What can Paypal do with my negative balance ?

I'm done with Paypal now the buyer opened a dispute and sent back the wrong item and got his refund, basically getting the item I sent for free. I am -345 right now on my Paypal business account and I am not going to pay I am done with them A-holes.. They have my name and address but not my social so if I do not pay them what will happen guys? Will I be sent to a debt collector? I have a OLD BA and CC on file that is no longer active, they have already tried to take money from there but they couldnt...Also I have a personal account as well will they turn that account negative to ? I have my current BA and CC so should I go ahead and delete that information now ?

They will do nothing. If you are done with PP, forget about it. They will send occasional emails to you saying that you need to clear your negative balance blah blah
Forget that account.

In Germany there are plenty of reports that they will come with a debt collector ... on top of the original amount ppl claimed that they had to pay lawyer and "processing" fees.

In england when I went neg they sent a bailiff.

If you used your real information then they will come knocking at your door.

Why don't you dispute it? If you used paypal for quite some time with hardly any chargebacks let them know what happened. In detail. did you at least try that?

It makes no difference if you delete the bank account and credit card from paypal. They will try to charge both for the negative balance, per their terms of service. (yes, even if it's deleted.)

Your best bet is to call customer service and get the issue resolved with them. I've actually won lawsuits with paypal where they f_cked this up.

If they don't resolve it (most likely) you need to block the charge from your bank account and credit card, or close them completley if you can without causing too much of a headache with your finances.

Well said. If you say the product which was sent back is NOT the real product I would report it. I mean PP is a biatch but you can try at least. If there's enough good reputation on your account : )

There isn't much reputation on my business paypal account.. And I have tried they favored with the buyer and said they can not do nothing more for me... And some of you guys did not read what I said correctly.. I did this transaction on my business account it had a Bank and Credit card account linked to it, BUT that account and credit card is NO longer active.. My other question was if this account stay negative will it affect my PERSONAL account at all ?

SWIM owes -6000 in there paypal. make sure if you ever make a new paypal to not use your real information or they will link the two accounts. Also theres was a good thread about this were someone posted a way to get out of it. Its worth looking into the fair collections act if your very worried about it

Do you have a link to that thread.. The Business account has my name and address but no SSN... But my Personal one does... So do you think I can say I was not using the account?

SWIM account also has his name and address. he has just ignored calls and is waiting. eventually they will give up. With only -345 i SERIOUSLY doubt they will even call you maybe email you a couple of times. My friend only gets a call or email maybe once every couple of months

Ignore calls, emails and letters.

Have a friend in the UK who also owe them around 1000 pounds.. They still call him occasionally and sent him letters with threats, but I'm sure nothing have happened to him yet.. He is broke though, so maybe thats why^^

It depends where you are located.In the EU paypal acts like a bank even they are registered as financial institution and also only thx to the correct luxemburg government.
Myself i opened a court case against paypal for theft,false claims being a bank and knowingly lying to customer.
To your protection against a balif open a police case and create a report that the buyer is trying to scam you.So once the balif comes you show him the report and tell him to fu*ck off or if he wants money to come with a court notice which he will never get.
So baliff may come but without your consent he can't do anything
