Service's on BHW Just Keep Getting Cheaper and Cheaper [PROBLEM]

How about a sub section? Pay more to post on HQ section and it should be very strict to be approved.

Good idea, and make sure the reviewing process is strict and done over a period of time (2 weeks or so).

This is a free & open market where people decide the price they want to sell the service/product. And same way it's up to the buyers to choose the best thing they want(considering both in terms of quality & the money they pay for it).

You've answered yourself. If you want Bentley go buy it, but why are you trying to stop people from selling or buying Honda.....

It's overpriced because it's quality.

It's like comparing a honda to a bentley..

It's not a question of what car you wish to buy, it's the difference between buying a $5 or $10 SEO service.

Yes they both have the same specific's but the $5 doesn't have unique content or it doesn't use unique names/I.P's or even the best High PR sites.

Now tell me would you mind paying the extra $5 for a totally unique package with the best submissions?

Me? Well I would any day of the week.

How about some improved way of rating services. I see plenty of threads offering cheap links services that two days after buying the buyer posts "WOW great service". Two days isn't long enough to evaluate. All you can tell is if the links are actually there - that's not great service, that's the bare minimum. What I want to know is what was the effect on SERPS

I think the reality is that a lot of buyers are getting screwed with really low quality services due to all that congestion that is around bhw bst threads and, at the same time, high quality sellers are also getting their sales hurt when these potential customers go and spend their money on cheaper quality services. So the only way this problem could be solved would be in a form of a compromise.

Some sort of solution needs to be agreed on, where it benefits the buyer and the service providers.
There needs to be a clear and transparent way for the buyer to know what exactly he is buying, so if he sees a product like quoted above

but selling a package that have 10-15 web 2.0, 100 profiles, 100 bookmarks, 50 articles (from 10 unique domains and 10 or less still live links after 2 weeks) with non-readable shit and a blast of handful social signals for $150+
That is obviously a very overpriced service, and it only does more damage to reputable sellers who offer a much superior service and cheaper , and to the unsuspected buyer who spends his hard earned money on an overpriced piece of junk.

However, we also have services here that offer 1/10 of what a service double the price would which will make more sense to buy the service that costs the double and get 10 times more.

So I guess we do need some sort of High Quality section, where it would require a higher fee to get listed, more stricter regulations, and more than just a simple MOD reviewing the thread. No offense, but every mod has reviewed every single service here with a "good", "excellent", "superb" review.
What does that do to the buyers, if every MOD gives every service a "good to must have" review while having high-quality service providers voicing concerns on the amount of "trashy" services that are roaming around bhw and nothing is being done to protect them.In other words, some services do end up damaging a lot of established reputable service providers when new and lower quality services are put on the bst market.

So overall, for quality services to stand out there has to be a more stricter form of review, one that actually takes more than 20 bucks and a 97 jr vip subscription to gain the status of "premium" service.

Yeah, It's not about you or me wishing to buy or sell. The price of a product/service is defined based on lot of factors like who works for you, where you outsource the work etc. So it's absolutely fair to provide the same service for cheaper price.

I am not talking about the quality aspects here because it's obvious that buyer would be knowing the quality he/she get for the cost paid.

Stop this please. A lot of sellers outsource on Fiverr and they ask like 100-150 bucks for junk links you could get on Fiverr for 30 bucks. Throw in a fancy sale page and you are good to go.

Increase the BST Pricing(so the SELLEr has to pay $100) to $100 or so, or even recurring, so only serious and quality providers will be here.

Sorry to break this to you but even a monthly fee of $100 wouldn't stop these re-sellers, they are banking anyway.

Get very strict on approval

Easy to say than done. What stops them for providing a high quality service just for admin in order to get approved?

I think sellers (except private blog networks) should provide buyers with full report samples before ordering. If you are that high quality just show me before I pay what I get and I pay no problem. You get more sales, I sleep well.

I do not keep a record what the trends are but with all updates lately you should be total noob to pay under $200 a month and to expect actual long-term results.

Could have been the best suggestion.. But moderator has already checked that and no genuine seller would want to reveal his linking strategy to everyone.

Also, don't forget SPIES the competition send to sniff the service/product.

And if I was to be the competition or just want to buy your linking strategy, what is stopping me from buying it? Cmon..leave these theories for the newbs. Every high quality provider I talked with on Skype agreed to give me samples before ordering. Quality is quality, it won't "get hit". Custom bots are custom bots as well. I am of course talking about the all in one SEO packs here. Aka web 2.0s, articles, docs, social, bookmarks etc.

Most of the sellers sell junk and that's why they will never want to give samples. Fancy sale page..if they get an unsatisfied buyer who knows a thing or two they will refund him and ask him to not post a negative review or to edit the negative review... Hell... I have even received negative SEO threats if I don't remove my review. If they get an unsatisfied newbie they will just delay him saying is just a dance and to see the full power of the "Justin Bieber on cocaine hacks Google" package you need to wait a month or two. Sometimes their 2011 tactics work out well.

And if we started this conversation why not take a closer look into the reviews as well. I bet some SEO services providers are hand in hand and give nice reviews to each other. Is not an affirmation, just a thought :P. Business is business. Sadly, in the end it's the buyer's responsibility to choose the right service. It's not the admins job, they already did too much for this community.

PS: Please don't get me wrong, I have no intention to offend any genuine service providers. I am buying a lot of services from BHW, sometime MIX them, and I'm getting great results. It's a great marketplace if you know how to use it.

Sadly this is a reality! one posts his BOMBASTIC review today and the other the next day! I learned a thing: Never trust a review by a BST seller never!

No offense, but every mod has reviewed every single service here with a "good", "excellent", "superb" review.

I agree for the most part (there are a few exceptions, for example BB sometimes just says "approved" without any other comments.)
My question is, since we have no way of knowing, are there many BSTs that are rejected on a regular basis when the package doesn't perform well for a mod? Or are BST's usually just approved if they pay the fee and supply the links promised without regard to the quality?

And when I said that BHW was becoming more commercial everyone was confused.

Nevertheless, I can't really comment because I've not used many services recently but I can only imagine that the ones complaining the most are the ones losing sales.

But as DD told me when I voiced concerns about it when everyone and his mother opened a service flat out copying mine, he said its an open market people are free to open services and set what ever prices they want, he suggested to show your quality through other means like customer service and results etc.

Its a shame and sad to see as it wrecks good ideas one person has when every other fucker copys and lowers the price after them putting in all the hard work to build publicity for their product, back when I first joined here your service had to be unique to be approved, now its a free for all. But thats how things go and ultimately quality always shines through.

So basically you're saying that just because you were the first to sell a SAPE link building service it means that no one else should be able to do so?

Read my post again before commenting, the points I was trying to make are that every tom dick and harry opens copy cat threads daily and undercuts, mine was just an example. I was pointing out that some time ago only unique services were approved! and I also was pointing out the response I got from the admin here about this issue and the issue on pricing which is relevent to this thread.

If people are so dumb as to not have the brain capacity to come up with their own pretty simple ideas that they need to jack others well thats a whole other debate and wasn't my point in the initial post...

Ebay fixed this for dropshippers by mandating minimum prices on things by UPC code. It really leveled the playing field for everybody making a living on eBay and allowed everyone to win, instead of making everybody losers due to downward pricing pressure. Although eventually many buyers went to other markets where they could buy stuff for 90% less than the eBay-mandated minimum price which basically put all the dropshippers out of business, but at least it was still a level playing field.

That would never happen here though, because BHW's BST customer base is very loyal and would never shop service providers.

The market determines the price, supply and demand its just that simple.

So BST sellers are asking for BHW to cut ITS sales? There are levels for everyone and some people can only buy $10 services, others can buy $200 services there is room for everyone.

Also there are very few totally unique services or plans out there. The ones that stand out WILL stand out and if price is comparable people will pay a few extra for quality products.

I understand the BST sellers frustration, but this is not a monopoly and there WILL be competition. In fact when it comes down to it most of the BST sellers are selling someone elses products, whether it be a press release, Sape or even automated links from some tool.

Want to eliminate competition? Come up with your OWN product and sell that, this way no one can "steal" it from you when all you are doing is reselling an existing product/service.

Let the free market decided. If the service is crap the reviews will destroy the service. Free market always wins, don't try to control it. The main reason I buy here is because there are always honest reviews.

If your service is quality people will pay for it, there is nothing to worry about here.
