Most people search for extra fans on their facebook pages, which is a wrong idea atm, saying a fb page with 1M fan having 1000 ppl talking about worth nothing, and a small page with a big talking about is way better !
so, how do we increase talking about on our business page?
Talking about depends on many factors facebook did not explain yet how it's measured exactly but, after some studies and statistics we can say that:
- Number of comments on different posts ( post, picture, link ) on page
- Number of shares
- Number of likes on page
- Number of ppl posting on page
- Number of ppl taging page on other places ( their wall, open groups, other pages )
- Number of ppl sharing page directly ( As link )
so, ppl comment all the time on posts we make on page, and the number of comments differ between picture or regular post or sharing a link on page, to get ranked as a ( High comments ) you need to reduce sharing links ! or even cut it at all. and use only posts and images ! that's better.
Ask people to like your post, Ask them to share it, and use posts that force them to comment like easy questions and birthdays and many other ideas that works ( depending on your page topic )
I want to increase Talking about Now !
here's a method to do that !
find some apps that gives you animated page tab picture ! like animated flags for example.
install it on your page and copy its url.
hide it
go to ( developers dot facebook dot com )
using Graph API Explorer, chose post instead of get, and replace "?fields=id,name" with "/feed?"
in the add field section, type: url in the first one, and past the url on the second, here u go, submit !
you will get the animated picture shared on your wall but actually it's your page that's being shared !
Share it on your page, and tell fans that they can have this picture on their wall if they share it ! VOILA
in this picture, i added animated flag, got like 1400 share.. Talking about jumped from 300 to 8000 in 24 h.
Adding new animated pictures stopped atm due facebook modification, i made an app for animated flags and i have few flags they are :
Syria Flag, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, And Jordan in case any member is from these countries i will be glad to provide him the flags.
