Particularly by the big G? I'm just curious, if someone serves up different content to the big G, how would they know?
What about G toolbars installed on folks machines. Shouldn't be too hard for G to checksum what a person sees in their browser, send it to the big G and validate it with the checksum the page is indexed as. I've noticed many cloaked sites that are still indexed so I guess they haven't deployed such a feature at the present.
Thoughts?
I usually get my cloaked sites banned within 2-4 weeks depending on the cloaking technique.
btw. google has lots of automated ways to parse about everything. i
f cloaking is serverside, well good luck finding the gazillion google bots(guess what they dont all have the useragent "googlebot").
Oh yeah my point:
Who Cares?? It's not about not getting banned, it's just about making enough money BEFORE getting banned. 2 weeks is more than enough for me to pay for the expenses+ some.
Content cloaking using an accurate IP-bot database is the way to go. From my experience and many fellow cloakers, we've got sites indexed, ranking, and generating traffic very quickly and lasting in the SERPs a very long time - I've got many that are over 18 months old. But, I only do content cloaking and no form of redirection!
If you have cloaked, you have been caught
If Googlebot gets redirected, they will spider the page the human is suppose to see. Eventually they boot the cloaked site and you start over with a new domain.
