Testing the water for french articles

Hello bhw

i was thinking about launching a french writing service but i'm not 100% sure if there will be enough sales for me and my writers to make some profit.
so here i'm testing the water to see how many people would say go for it.

There is a market. We have a couple of French clients but nothing huge. Do you plan making a site like iWriter or something like that or..?

i own a few french websites my self and i know how frustrating it is to get your hands on an affordable good french writer.

I think you should make a site for French content and optimize it. I am not a native French so I don't know (at the moment) which KW's to target but I must tell you that your thread made me start thinking about this entire French content thing. There is a huge potential there and if I find some time I may start something as well.
The thing is, a lot of French people are not good with English and they need a French site to approach to, not an english language forum. Something like this may even exist out there but I am not aware of.

i'm a member in some french boards and i can assure you that there is virtually no competition + the whole french market: articles,seo,web design and much more are really a big something to look at. i can give more info on this if required

i'm gonna give it another week or so and see how many other bhw members are interested in this and then i'll decide.

TBH OP, I would recommend you more like a euro articles service.. If you really want to go all out and scale it up, suggest articles in French, italian, spanish, german.. truth is you just need one article writer and 3-4 translators... And just for french people, I don't think there'll be such a big demand (although there is no competition), but for euro languages.. yeah, big, no, huge demand and still no competition.

There is a market for sure on BH like forum, that's for sure. As i display my french status in my location, i receive around once a month a request to write french articles, which i don't do.

However, claiming that you would be able to make a killing with it, i'm not sure.

That said, if you spice things up a little such as proposing french niche website, french amazon store or whatever along with writing articles, you may drag more customers if introduced properly.

For spanish, try and get some latin american freelancers to translate.. for italian.. ergh, I heard berlusconi is looking for a new job after his court sentence (bunga bunga! lol) .. no, j/K but I think it would be more worth it to aim a bit bigger than just French market.. honestly most french (no offence to my people) are still in 2006-8 in terms of internet technology and business.

Haha! I believe Mods are playing tricks on me . I corrected it a few times already. But you ended up doing quite a surprising thing.

make a thread on BHW with your service. advertising it to all other members. I am sure that many providers can meet with English but not French all. I have some friends who want to target for French site. I will contact them if they need.
