so best is, keep doing research and try to fix, this way we learn and avoid penalties next time.

Hey Bro,

thanks for the valuable info, I did not know the difference between panda and penguin, personally I thought were the same updates but, different versions like Mac OSX with the versions and animals kind of thing.

I am personally not sure because I had a friend that use to work on SEO and he told me that he thinks is Panda because he says that website is opening on without (www) and on index.html as well. Both the domain should be redirected as follow:
http://mywebsite.com/ should be redirect to http://www.mywebsite.com/ and http://www.mywebsite.com/index.html should redirect to http://www.mywebsite.com/ and because of that he thinks that Google gets this domain as duplicate content and Panda punish my website because of that, that could be true?


About penguin, what you mean with link spam? I for example got like 40 links that build everyday new links because they are on blog rolls, I cannot stop that!! Or how many from my end I should build? I don't use any black hack software as x-rummer or stuff like that, my links are either from exchange, forums, comments, articles, social media and directories. How many per day, is there a specific amount?

Hi,

Yes your home page should be redirect to one page only. You can ask some expert to fix it with in .htaccess file.

Link spam is
Building too many links in short time, sitewide links, comments links (if not manual), but i really avoid comments.
try to find quality links only, 1 good link can be equal or more then 1000 low quality links, now you want 20000 links or 20 links?

40 links every day, you talking old days, You must be up to date with current SEO. some thing work today and will not tomorrow.

Long back, i move to quality only. that is ever green. so now i never have site go in penalty due to links. But this 6th march hit, i am still confuse on it.

Links are high quality, but some contents issue, those fixed
and very hopeful, site will be back.

I have noticed some pretty odd ranking fluctuations over the past few months, and from some of my customers's sites of which have fairly decent backlink profiles, nothing blackhat (at least not in years), etc. I have seen some #1-5 ranked KW literally jumping to 75-100, and in a few cases being 100+, then a few days or week later it's back to #1-5 or maybe 5-15. It's definitely very odd.

That is exactly what has happened to me, what is going on? People say is Google Dance but its been 5 days since this happen to me and still the same no changes, how long to get ranking back if it is Google Dance? if it is Panda what is the best way to fix it?

Mine is starting to climb back slowly, is that normal?
 
Mine it is not back yet, but, my friend has found something also something interesting that he says it could be because of panda, because he went on the webmaster tools of my page and find out that some title tags and meta description tags content had a duplicity issue with around 140 internal pages of the website.

Could Google Panda has found it as a Duplicate content issue and that is why Google penalize my site? Is that possible at all? If I fix it then Google will put my site back to its ranking?


Please advice me because its been 5 days and in one of my keywords that I use to rank 1st all this 5 days I had ranked 15 and today it seem to drop to 27 so, it is not getting better just worst.

I am fixing the metatags issues is there anything else I need to do? in the next 2 days should be finish the Google Dance dateline so, it means is Panda or Penguin so, maybe is because of the metatags and url mention before issue that I am fixing.


Please help, I am really confuse!

I wouldnt worry not to give anyone false hope but same thing happened to mine and they recovered shortly after maybe a few days to a week.

I hope so man, because Its been happening for on the last 5 days saturday will be a week if it does not get fix then I have a pinguin or panda problem because today I went down even more instead of going up, that is why I am so worried, about the metatags it is important I fix them because can be flag by google as duplicate content?

No offence to you man, but YOUR Seo strategy is a fuck up. If anything my sites have had a great boost. So i think its time you change your strategy altogether

I have domains that are more than 10 years old, short, right to the point, not hosted in america (to over come saturation) using unique ip with good reputation (host too) nothing inflated (artificial) No javascript/flash or things like this on the page, unique content, no crappy inbound/outbound links hummm WHAT ELSE F*CK and bangggggggggg

No where to be seen... I'm lost !!!

Tell me about it bro, I was on Top 5 positions with most of my keywords and now they are betweet pages 30 and 60, 600 position man!!! WTF happen???

I finally spot the duplicate error I mentioned before, it seems that everytime I add a new product it copies the same metatags (title, description and keywords) could that be the main problem of my ranking positions, since its a Panda thing?

Lol, it is not google dance. An update is in progress nearly for 2 weeks and it will be in action formally tomorrow.

Keep in mind though that it is more of a "rolling" update. What that means, we still don't know. They mentioned that it'd become harder and harder to distinguish between a rolling update; become more part of the algo. So it'll probably start effecting things on a longer-term scale, with gradual changes, not this whole throw-you-off-a-cliff business we've experienced in the past.

just to know, what are all panda issues I need to take in mind to fix, the duplicate meta tags I mention is one of them right? What else I need to keep in mind with panda and penguin, just want to check the site for any more errors.
