What Most School Dont Teach !

I hate it when people say it's bad for kids to spend to much time on the pc, or playing video games are bad.


The biggest reasons I have such a strong entrepreneurial spirit is because I played the shit of games like rollercoaster tycoon and stuff where you kinda learn how to run a business. Actually as a kid I played this game called habbo hotel, where you have a character that can interact with other kids and design rooms ( with furniture you had to pay for ). I remember I set up a casino style room where kids could bet furniture to play blackjack against me and I was making loads of furniture / virtual dollars.

I learned basic and c++. then started playing computer games and building websites ;-)

Where can I learn that? and css too. None of the colleges close to me have classes related to web developing, well only the ones that cost $20k.

Some places I've seen online deliver the content in such an uninspired way that is just so easy to get distracted and forget about it.

Most school don't teach street smarts. I was once told by a fellow alumni who's very successful in his business at silicon valley that almost all college subjects can be compressed into six months of learning.
