i don't know but i find it inspiring.
Short Film ; What School Don't Teach !
Yeah such a great video. Makes me want to study coding.
We learnt coding at our school a few years back, but it was just Visual Basic which I still don't understand how to code.
I just want to give you the biggest THANK YOU that I can.
Earlier today I brought my 4 year old son to get his flu shots and the doctor noticed our son talking about computer stuff a lot "Let's hurry because I want to download something at home" or something like that. The doctor asked how long he stays in front of the computer and I say I have to drag him away from it everyday. She, the doctor, then gives us this really bad look and says "you really should limit time on the computer to one hour a day" which, incidentally, was what I've been trying to do for weeks. The tone of her voice couldn't have made her thoughts any clearer "that is bad parenting."
I've been at a loss for weeks about what to do about it. My son always loved educational games so I thought that there was no harm in letting him play with that. I don't want to seem like I'm bragging but I think my son is quite smart; he learned to read at 2 and a half and has no problem reading books for 6 year olds. I never ever considered having him learn code. It's perfect if you think about it. Code is like a language (or shall I say "code is a language") and what better time to learn a language than at 4 when you're brain is primed for learning language.
I let my son try that app for kids on code.org and he loves it. This could be the first step to what may be one of the most important things he can learn in his life. I don't know if my excitement is misplaced but I feel good about this. Still got to keep him away from too much junk on the computer though like angry birds or whatever no doubt about that.
Anyway, thank you again. I didn't even feel like clicking on this thread but did anyway because 'what the hell, why not.' Didn't think I'd get inspired like this. Now it's time to see if what my son can do in a few more years...
learning coding really changes your way of thinking about anything!
Im Glad To Hear That <3 <3 <3 .
I had 70 students in my class and just 1 student failed in Computer C++ Programing class. That was me.
Few years later....
I started hiring coders, 1 of them was actually my classmate.
Even if you are not a coder, feel proud to say, "I am the CEO bitch... "
"I failed in some subjects in exam, but my friend passed in all. Now he is an engineer in Microsoft and I am the owner of Microsoft."
― Bill Gates
But Gates Who Himself Coded Windows
a coder earns much lesser than he actually deserves... ideas are given more importance ..i was good at coding until i found IM and realised its so easy to earn just with your ideas without causing much stress to your brain.. we all know zuckerberg himself is a better marketer than he is a programmer
At first, yeah. And Zuckerberg also coded FB himself at first.
But When Coders Get Idea = Billionair eg : Mark,Steve Jobs , Bill Gates .....
Learning programming is a great skill but please, Steve Jobs had the Woz to do all of the heavy lifting at Apple.
Schools teach you how to be average and live a life of mediocrity.
Business and entrepreneurship, teaches you how to be extraordinary and live a life of few can ever live and live life to the fullest.
Watched this on ytb every human should know how to code a computer program
