Replace My Job - a Journey to full time IM.

Interesting Thread. Especially the thoughts on full time IM. I'm thinking about allocating 5hours a day along side my regular job as a taxi driver /owner and then phasing up to more hours if it makes me any money!

Exhausted, so I'll keep it brief:
Today was a surprisingly good day for adsense. I've made an idle habit of reblogging from my phone when I have some spare time throughout the day. Today, I may have over-done it a bit, but lord did it show on my adsense.
I actually went through most of the day with it showing $0.00.. which is unusual. I am just getting ready to head to bed, when I check as an afterthought. Today's stats?
Total followers: 3500
Adsense Revenue Today: $4.07 (!)
Adsense Revenue Yesterday: $0.97
Adsense Revenue This Month: $18.53
Adsense Revenue Last Month: $7.48
A net gain of nearly 500 followers in a day, and the highest adsense day I've had so far. Now the real question is: How can I keep that up without physically reblogging all day every day? haha
As far as my affiliate site goes, I have set up some of my offline traffic campaign and it should be in full swing this weekend. Hopefully, that will mean sales in the next week.
I'm also considering taking on some writing jobs as a side thing to help build up capital. I'm looking into textbroker at the moment. After some cursory research, I'm also thinking about advertising the service here as well, but I have no idea what such a thing would require to be in compliance with BHW rules. That will be an R&D project for another day.

Too tired for a full update tonight, so I'll just give the stats.
I'm beginning to decide that adsense is just voodoo sorcery of some kind. After that $4.07 day, I basically got nothing for the following two. $0.07, $0.15... and then today. I'll just post the stats here.
Hopefully, we can see this trend continue, because I appeared to have accidentally made more today than my entire last month. And then some.

It's been an interesting few days. Life has been occupying my attention the last few days, but I'm getting things cleared up now and back to concentrating.

I've been doing pretty steadily, but I feel like I should be seeing more growth in profits. I'm certainly seeing growth in the followers department, it just isn't reflecting in my bank account. I've played with ad type and placement, but I haven't seen a lot of change. I'm beginning to wonder if it's simply the quality of ad produced by adsense and if I wouldn't be better off throwing in an affiliate of some kind.
I'm also going to try to find another niche I can operate via photoblog and see if that helps.

I couldn't sleep, so I figured I'd check in here. I haven't been particularly good at hitting this each day, but I'm sure you lot will forgive my absence.
I started working textbroker last week as an additional revenue source. I won't track that here as there's nothing extraordinarily impressive about that. I'm going to open up a thread here advertising services at some point (though, if you're interested and impatient, feel free to PM. Ha!) I experimented with a handful of layouts and ad placements for my tumblrs and I think I found the winner. I've seen steady increases since adopting my current setup.
So far I'm doing pretty okay. I ripped a few other sites in my niche and I've got something like 30.000 images now. Of these 30,000 I have about half organized into folders containing 300 images each for easy auto-blogging. I started another tumblr, bringing my count to three in this niche on adsense.
And now, the stats:

Adsense Revenue 03/10/13: $13.23
Adsense Revenue 03/09/13: $2.25
Adsense Revenue This Month: $25.34

I'm noticing Sundays and Mondays seem to explode. Wednesdays are pretty solid as well. The rest of the week kind of fluctuates. Hopefully, we'll see a pretty nice increase across the board.

So I did nothing today and it has been my highest day so far. I've already past up last month's mark and that's good excuse for a drink. If I pull in another $12.56, I'll get my payout. Very exciting. I'm either having freaky luck the last two days, or the new layouts are working. We'll watch and see.
If it does continue though, it's a safe bet that I can leave my hands off tumblr for a while and concentrate on other things. I do at some point need to figure out how to set up proxies so I can add additional blogs without fear, but for now I'm pretty satisfied.

Sorry for the delay. I've been absorbed in other projects. I don't know if there's any way to get an adsense account back. Best bet might be to try to get another one and keep going? If your tumblrs are still functional, I'd just try to get another adsense account to link them to.
