I've started this only 3 days ago with a friend and so far I've been getting replies asking about the laptops that I am selling. I don't have any converts yet, but I am dealing with a customer right now that's somewhat interested.

In my country(Hungary) amazon doesn't do direct deposits. Only checks (15$ and really slow) and gift cards. What if I do this with ebay affiliate?
Anyways, if you would like to get paid by PayPal with Amazon Affiliates, you can simply register to Squidoo and they will give 4.25%+they pay after the traffic and other ads. So if you have withdraw problems with Amazon, you can do this.
Just an idea, wondering if it is good or not. What do you think?

Although Amazon is great on its own, there are 2 things i don't like much with them - the low % commission and the complicated interface. Yes, you should have some knowledge to be able to build a good store with hot products listed.
So instead of promoting computers you can push antivirus...
Just change the ad:
Title: Do not buy new computer
Body text:
Are you going to spend $$$ for a new computer? I can speed up your old one for $39 Call XXX-XXX-XXXX
Then drive them to your simple site with basic stuff on how to speed up windows based computers and your affiliate links there.
BONUS: make your site looks like you are an expert. Put your phone number there with a voice autoresponer (say sorry, i am very busy please drop me an email i will call you asap) and make them send you a message (you replay with advice, and your aff links of course)
TIP: You may use this template for your site

Do you need lots of ads and time to see results? How much ads have you made and traffic did you get.
I have a quick question, i registered a website with a product name of amazon in it and now it is not possible to register this domain in the astore (atleast i think this is the reason). What can i do? is using a redirect domain like .tk with a different adress for example an option? and how important is it to register the correct domainname with amazon?

A blog is a site. Learn how to turn your blog into an Amazon (or other affiliate) store website. Being open to learning new things is very important, darling.

So when I started this method I went hard at promoting ads the first few days, then fell flat with it. I was getting clicks (not enough to be honest) but no sales. I checked my Amazon earnings yesterday and I found I had shipped 3 items for $4.84, almost a month after my initial ads were put up.
Not a real "success" story, but enough for me to know that it works in principal. If you're getting a ton of clicks and no conversions, you need to optimize your site. I've barely gotten any and made a sale. Hope this helps someone!

Great method trying it out! Posted 6 ads so far. Instead of using a amazon store front i made like an amazon affiliate site. Hopefully it will convert better. Basically it has a directory and specific reviews for all items/ electronics.
