Hi guys,
Currently working on a new project and thought that would be nice to share a good idea I had yesterday with my fellow blackhatters. I'll give a very broad idea of the method, feel free to manipulate it and play with it. I won't answer any PM. If you have questions, please ask them in the thread so people can benefit from it.

To be brief, the main idea here is to strike where the competition does not exist in the offline world. We will be targeting keyword like [Italian restaurant Boston]. Please note that this type of keyword probably got some big competition, due to the nature of the niche, and the size of the city. I'm not here to teach you how to do your keyword research, there are plenty of tutorials on the forum.
You're not looking for a 1-2-3K searches keyword either. Between 300 and 800 is enough, depending the niche potential. After that, you make a nice website, put some content on it and of course, it must look PRO. If not, then you can go back doing your small adsense MNS sites. There are plenty of professional WP Theme, look for theme forest, those are pretty cool.
Once it's done, you want to target relevant local keywords. Let's say your Domain name is ItalianrestaurantBoston(DOT)net, then you would target the keyword pasta restaurant boston.
Monetization
Once the site looks pro and got content and traffic, we're going to bring the BACON. It's pretty simple, you're going to do a local listing of all the best services relevant to your site. Again, if our site is Italian restaurant Boston, then you would approach Italian restaurant in Boston and ask them if they would want to be listed on your site for 1 month for free. Logically, there is no reason why they would refuse right? Everybody loves freebie, especially if it brings business.
By doing that, you would build your customers base. After a month, it's time to charge for the service. You want to be listed first ? Allright, then its 100$ per month. Second place? No problem, that would be 90$ and so on. Now think out of the box and get some nice idea to play with the method. You could separate the city territory and make listing: east side Boston, West side, north side, whatever. The more you separate, the more you can get clients.
Lets think about it, if you have 100 restaurants and that you charge 5$ each (which is pretty cheap), that's still 500$ per month autopilot right? All the work as been done to gain the traffic. Imagine you would actually rank for pay day loan in Detroit, or lawyer in Chicago. Sky is the limit !!! All you have to think is, how much would your client pay for one single lead. That would give you a lot of niche idea.
CONCLUSION :
Use your common sense. Think out of the box, and have fun with the method. I think it got some great potential on the long term.
Reference for those that dont have any idea on how to approache a business owner : 22 Letters = $17,000 profit in 3 weeks.
To be scared to try different method concerning that. Dont be scared to knock at their doors and present yourself. Are we marketer or not? Then go out and sell your badass listing
