Get Twitter Account Verified

I picked up an artist 3 weeks ago and added about 50,000 real followers (we followed real live people to get this done) to his account in about a week time frame. This prompted an email from twitter out of the blue. He got the email this morning from them.

The email was from "[email protected]" and basically said if he was "interested" in becoming verified to simply reply back stating intentions that we was and that he would be verified right away.

That was 4 hours ago and we are still waiting.

I believe the key is "blowing yourself up" on twitter with real followers (not buy fake and then do nothing) and then waiting for a response from them. I have another artist I took on about the same time and I also got him 50,000 REAL followers so I'm waiting to see if this theory proves to be true.

I'm and artist..Ive racked up about 20k real followers just from youtube alone..But I want more people to hear my music! How did you follow that many people in such a short amount of time? Im using that same method..but i can only follow 1k people a day..in return i get about maybe 5 or 600 follows a day. but it will take like 3 months before i even come close to 50k real followers. Do you have a faster way? would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

I've seen a few accounts that photoshop the check in the header pic to make it look like it's verified.

I'm surprised twitter doesn't suspend for this.

i dont think they verify unless you are famous and people are confused. they are trying to verify less and less every day. you have to have several google results for your name

This is something I have performed before on behalf of 1 or 2 clients, you need a telephone, Twitters telephone number and a good plan, if i told you anymore i'd have to kill you. Sorry

I have been told by a friend with a verified account that there is a really simple way to get ANY account verified...

1. Put Twitter own "follow" code on your website (not just the link to your page on twitter)
2. Have people (coughs bots) click the link from your website to your account and follow you.

Apparently this referral method assures the people at Twitter HQ that you are genuine and a "person of interest" and thus they verify your account pretty quickly.

If anyone wishes to test this just let me know via a PM and I will happily visit your website and follow you

I will be adding the links to 100's of my own websites over the next few weeks but at the moment not rushed/not fussed.
