PositiveSSL vs RapidSSL

I am looking to purchase a budget SSL for one of my online store, which one would you guys recommend? There isnt any big price difference anyways..

I think that PositiveSSL will secure both www and non-www urls. This alone, in my opinion, will more than compensate for any disadvantages of being a chained-root cert such as the RapidSSL.

Both achieve the same thing however, but they are not like proper certs that will validate a business credentials (eg: proof that the business really is who they say etc).
That is why root CA certs are much more expensive.

Rapid SSL is issued by GeoTrust while Positive SSL is issued by Comodo. PositiveSSL is cheaper. Rapid SSL use 1024 bit key, Positive use 2048 bit key. Thats all.

Bit strength dosent actually matter too much as long as its over 1024 bit.
Both choices still do not do actual verification of the business.

The reason both the certs are cheap is because they are not root CA like DigitCert for example.

Don't mean to bring up an old thread here, but do these low-level certs provide any SEO value?
