Is scrapebox dying?

If you think that blog posting is the main point or usage of the tool, those who know how to use it correctly would strongly disagree with you and would suggest looking at some online guides on some real benefit to using what sweetfunny made instead of the immediate gratification of "blog posting".

I bought it quite a while ago and I personally did not like it as it was very slow. I wanted to use it for harvesting, but it was dead slow with public proxies, so it was a waste of money and I had to write my own. But there are a lot of users who are happy with it.

Have you found anything that harvests significantly faster?

Are blog comments as a ranking tool as effective as they use to be? Probably not. But Scrapbox is definitely still alive and well and one of the best tools you can get for your SEO arsenal.

Scrapebox is a very useful (scraping) tool and will most likely be so for the coming years. If you're looking for something similar that's a little more focussed on commenting you should keep your eye on GScraper (Chinese).

I'm sorry but are you INSANE? - I've built entire campaigns around blog commenting - Though GSA Search Ranker has a better built in blog commenting tool as you can target it to specific niches / keywords and to specific countries / search engines to get a more effective link building campaign.

I just bought the tool, and i plan on using it for scraping links and manual comment posting, obviously you can't rely only on blog commenting, but it can be an important aspect of any campaign.

Blog commenting still works, and as far as Scrapebox is concern, it is not only for blog commenting. I am using it to find high-PR niche-related sites to put my backlinks on.

However, using SB solely for spamming will not bring your site any further.

sb is still a great tool ....

it starts that its really working .. the most bots are crap and dont work after short time nowerdays.
SB is working great - dont crash - has a lot of tasks. i dont use it for blog commenting any more but you can scrape . and use the add ons .

but if you just thinking of doing blog comments i guess its not effective any more.

It for SCRAPEing . I also use it for finding keywords, platforms with a given footprint and high PR blogs for manual commenting. I used mass blog commenting feature of SB once or twice - still loving it!

I bought scrapebox a few months ago, close to a year ago actually and maybe it helped a little but I feel as if the life span of this product is coming to an end.

So you say that one of the best product out there isn't any good. This is a $50 one time tool and that is practically free.

Blog comments from relevant blogs are excellent links, but you cannot blast comments automatically with scrapebox to high PR moderated blogs, because of akismet. But scrapebox can help you find them.

I mainly use it for scraping (finding links) and posting my tier3 links/trackbacks on autoapprove blogs.

nothing beats its value but "scraping" has got more difficult with private proxies. especially if you use inurl: or similar in a footprint. But its clever enough so you can export failed keywords and retry them repeatedly until it works.

I use it mostly for looking for expired blogs and domains combined with its mass pr checker.
