This code works to get .com .net .org .biz and .info for only $.50 on register.com. You can add 3 to your cart at a time and use it as many times as you want. I just used it today.

Code:
reg050ek

Note: Since I'm seeing comments about the high renewal price, be sure to untick the box for "Auto Renew" at checkout. If you pay by paypal, login to your account and go to Profile > My Money > My preapproved payments > and cancel the billing subscription. You can always transfer your domain to another registrar before it expires.

Awesome stuff mate, what are they like in general though? I've never used them before.

I think their site must be a bit buggy. I chose a domain and registered and then when I tried to use your code got this message. Never used them before so don't know why.

Offer valid for new customers only, limitations apply. Our records indicate you are an existing customer or have already reached the limit or restrictions for this promotion.

It could be a bug. I've used this promo code over and over on the same account without any problems so I have no idea why it's not working for you.

What is the price when it comes to renewal?

I don't see a lot of good comments here:

Their normal renewal price said $38 on the checkout (but I did get that down to $9) so I immediately did a little research on transfer costs to see how much it would be to take one to GoDaddy at the end of the year and there wasn't much information available. That made me a little suspicious.

Combined with that and the bug on the checkout promo code I decided to just use the $1.99 Godaddy code and save myself a little hassle.

Cheers for the code in any case OP!

I don't have any domains up for renewal yet so I don't know. I did a search and I see some people saying its $38 which is nuts. When I get down to a month I'll probably transfer them over to namecheap.

All I know is they have really cheap domains right now. I don't use them for hosting or any other services.

At least with gomommy, they have more discount codes than a hooker on xmas eve.
