Honestly, when I was a newbie I was very concerned about my rep points...because people in general discussions tend to judge you by that. So newbies are a bit concerned about that, I understand Then gradually you realize that BHW is more about sharing and learning...rep becomes just numbers.My 2 cents.

For me, Ive been here over 7 months and have gained my rep slowly and gradually giving bits of advice regarding Youtube, Music and personal advice.
I've found as my rep increases my threads are more likely to be replied to, as people know I'm not simply a newbie here to grab methods with no thanks.
But at the end of the day, it comes down to post quality.

now i am going to tell you undercover story of this thread actually this is an old member and he have more than 150+ reps in his original profile.
so he just created this one or other more fake accounts to boost his original id with thanks and good comments.
now lately he got this whole sympathy idea from any crime show
abused and provide a -rep from his real profile to himself.
and now boom
sympathy flood started---oh its sad, oh feel pain for you...etc.
and now you invented this whole new method "How to get +reps in BHW fast"
i am sure sooner or later you will create a awesome tutorial on it by posting a new thread from your real id.
